Dugu Qianye smiled and nodded, then went to her room with Baili Ruyan and Dandan. The people continued discussing the matter of Rong Xiu’s memory recovery. Suddenly, someone asked, "General Rong’s memories can be recovered, but who is she?"

All of a sudden, everyone fell silent, and it took a long time before someone said, "Is she... is she the reincarnation of the Creator God?"

"Okay." Dandan flew into the air, watching as Dugu Qianye sat on the bed, crossed her legs, and her true form emerged from her body to join the other half in the air above the room. Baili Ruyan entered from outside, glanced at her, and then merged into his true form.

Once Dandan returned to its true form, Dugu Qianye slowly lifted her hands, and Chaotic Power spilled from the palms. As her hands drew closer together, the power slowly coalesced into a ball. Then, with a flick of her wrist, the power left her palms and drifted towards Dandan, enveloping them in its embrace. After they had all entered the Chaos Orb, Dugu Qianye’s fingers danced, forming countless seals and casting them into the orb.

Baili Ruyan, watching Dugu Qianye’s dazzling actions, inwardly marveled at how she was always one step ahead of himself. He acknowledged he could never accomplish such a feat.

After working for half an hour, Dugu Qianye stopped and, together with Baili Ruyan, observed the situation inside the Chaos Orb. Perhaps due to the prolonged separation, the fusion was occurring slowly.

She wiped the sweat from her forehead and got off the bed to walk out to the other room. Baili Ruyan followed her out and asked, "Is that it?"

Dugu Qianye poured herself a cup of water and replied, "What I needed to do is done; the rest is up to it to fuse on its own. But judging by the current state, things aren’t looking great, perhaps due to having once sealed a Divine Artifact. I must stay here to watch it, ready to aid it at any moment. Are you going to wait here, or would you rather go out?"

"I’ll wait for you. I can take in the scenery here," Baili Ruyan said. "Why don’t you also restore my memories? After they’re back, I can go catch up with Rong Xiu."

Dugu Qianye reabsorbed Dandan’s true form back into her body and, hugging Dandan, asked, "You’ve just completed fusing with your other half, so why do you still look like such a small child?"

Dandan flew out of her embrace, transformed in a swish, and a dashing young gentleman appeared before her. However, this was limited to his figure, for his face was still the same as before, though it appeared slightly more mature.

Thinking back to how he was just snuggling in her arms, she couldn’t help but scowl and stare at Dandan speechlessly. "Dandan..."

"Eh, don’t call me Dandan anymore. If you keep calling me that, I’ll think you want to see my ’dandan’," Dandan said with a mischievous smile.

Dugu Qianye almost choked on her own breath from what Dandan said, glaring at him, "How did you become so sleazy?! Give me back my innocent Dandan!"

"This is just what I am like after fusion, no exchanges once merged. Silly woman, just accept it!" said Dandan before striding out of the room, leaving Dugu Qianye nearly grinding her teeth in frustration.

When Baili Ruyan walked in, he saw Dugu Qianye looking furiously agitated and asked, "What happened?"

"I’m about to be driven mad by a certain ’egg’!" Dugu Qianye grated out, "I really want to crush him to death!"
