Having said that, Dugu Qianye waved her hand, and suddenly flames several meters high burst from the ground, engulfing the cells. Soon after the crackling sounds from within, when the flames receded, neither the earthen prisons nor the people confined within them could be seen anymore, and the land was covered in lush green grass once again.

After the battle, Xiaohuo and the others transformed back into humanoid form and gathered around Dugu Qianye.

"Sister, your Domain is too powerful!" Lan Mei exclaimed. "It has all kinds of attributes. No matter what the enemies’ attributes are, you can suppress them!"

They had just noticed that Dugu Qianye used different attributes for different opponents, perfectly countering them.

She used her water attribute spiritual power to conjure a water mirror and, seeing that her appearance had changed significantly, she nodded in satisfaction, dispelled her domain, and appeared atop Ice Snow Mountain.

Once outside, Dugu Qianye spoke to the Purple Jade Bracelet on her hand, "Xiao, it’s done, I’m off."

The Purple Jade Bracelet flickered, and Zi Xiao’s voice came through: "Do whatever you want, I’m watching your back!"

"I know. Thank you, Xiao!" Dugu Qianye seemed to see Zi Xiao’s indulgent face.

"Mm, go on. Be careful," the Purple Jade Bracelet flickered, and its light dimmed down.

Dugu Qianye glanced at the bracelet and, following the gestures Zi Xiao taught her, formed a hand seal and cast it out. Subsequently, a portal opened up in the air before her. Once the portal expanded sufficiently to allow her passage, she leaped up, took a deep breath, and flew into it.

After an indeterminable amount of time, a dazed Dugu Qianye finally saw light ahead and mustered her remaining strength to push through.

When she emerged from the portal, she knew she was being flung into mid-air again. By now, she was too exhausted from the ordeal to fly. Resigned to her fate — it wasn’t a great height, just a few hundred meters — she closed her eyes, ready to meet the hard ground, but—
