"Xiaohuo!" Dugu Qianye shouted, and then flew towards Fen Qingran.

With that call from Dugu Qianye, a streak of fire shot into the sky, and the tiny figure transformed into the true form of a Phoenix. It spiraled in the air, spewing a mouthful of Golden Fire, which grew like a gust of wind into a roaring blaze, instantly turning the Super Divine Beast it was facing into ashes. Then, it landed above Fen Qingran and Zhong Bo.

Hei Feng dealt with that Intermediate-Divine Level, joining Xiaohuo’s side. Dugu Qianye landed on Xiaohuo, staring down Jin Yao.

Thanks to Xiaohuo’s flames, the Jin Family and Hao Pengyou temporarily retreated to their respective camps.

"A Phoenix?!"

Jin Yao looked at Xiaohuo, eyes flickering with a burning desire. He had not expected that Dugu Qianye’s Contract Beast was a Phoenix and that such a lineage of Spiritual Beasts existed in the lower realms.

"Jin Yao, you actually hurt my senior apprentice brother. I must say, you’re quite bold," Hao Pengyou said with a cold face.

"I gave you a chance not to intervene, but you didn’t cherish it," Jin Yao said.

"Everyone knows my master has accepted a female disciple, and yet you expect me to stand aside and watch? What a joke! How could I, Hao Pengyou, let others bully my junior sister?"

"Whoever hurts my senior brother shall die," Dugu Qianye stood on Xiaohuo, her clothes fluttering, her complexion dark and frightening.

"Hmph, just with you few little kids, wishful thinking," Jin Peng said disdainfully.

"The Guild Headquarter’s lead disciple has been hurt like this by you. Do you still think the Jin Family will have a good outcome?" Dugu Qianye looked at Jin Peng as if gazing at a dead man, her murderous aura causing him to shiver inside.

"Is he really?" Jin Peng couldn’t help but ask.

"If he is, then they can’t be allowed to leave today," Jin Yao said, the murderous intent in his eyes chilling to the bone.

The situation had developed to a point where they could no longer back down. If they let them go and today’s events were disclosed, even with the Jin Family’s background, they might not be able to withstand the Spiritual Master Association’s retaliation. Since things had come to this point, it was all or nothing; they had to keep them all here. Once they were dead, the blame couldn’t be traced back to them.

"Hmph, to kill us, you’ll have to see if you have the capability," Dugu Qianye said, "Jin Fei wanted to molest and kidnap me, he deserved to die, and you are here today trying to ambush us, let’s see who is more powerful!"

And the newly appeared Lan Mei and Qingluan were Advance Level Super Divine Beasts, their strength even higher than a human’s Divine Emperor!

A Level 5 Super Divine Beast was equivalent to a Primary Level Divine Emperor in human terms. Now, even if Jin Yao was at the Primary Level of the Divine Emperor, he was no match for Dugu Qianye’s army of Super Divine Beasts!

"I have never let them come out all at once before. I must say, you are very lucky!" Dugu Qianye said, then instructed Xiaoyin and the others, "This is your first time coming out together, show them how formidable you are, go!"

"Wow, Master, can we do whatever we want this time?" Xiaojiu asked.

Dugu Qianye nodded. With consent given, the beasts launched an attack on the opposing side. Lan Mei the Qingluan was strong enough to take ten by itself, and with addition of Xiaojiu, Hei Feng, and the super divine beasts of Hao Pengyou and others, the Jin Family members were quickly eradicated. Dugu Qianye noticed that before Jin Yao died, he managed to send out a message using a secret method, presumably to inform someone of their killer and to avenge them. Since she did not understand these methods, and the others were still in shock from her summoning of Lan Mei and the beasts and hadn’t reacted yet, they could only watch as Jin Yao sent the message out.

After dealing with the Jin Family members, Xiaohuo destroyed the corpses and traces with another burst of flame. Of course, she did not forget to loot the space rings. By the time the beasts finished cleaning up the scene, Hao Pengyou and the others still hadn’t snapped out of their shock.

Xiaohu transformed back into human form and, along with Xiaojiu, landed on the ground. Dugu Qianye flew before Hao Pengyou and waved her hand in front of his face.

"Senior Brother, come back to reality."

"My God, is this a dream?" Hao Pengyou said, stunned.

Dugu Qianye ignored Hao Pengyou and flew to the side of Fen Qingran. Fen Qingrou and Zhong Bo were so astonished by Dugu Qianye’s beasts that they forgot to administer elixirs to Fen Qingran.

Fen Qingran’s chest had been pierced by a golden spear. With Jin Yao’s death, the spear formed from his spiritual energy dissipated into the air, leaving a gaping hole in Fen Qingran’s chest, where blood continuously flowed.

Dugu Qianye approached, took out a modified Sacred Rhinoceros Pill for him to ingest, and then poured a medicine powder from a bottle onto his chest wound.

"Big Senior Brother, your wound needs to be properly dressed," Dugu Qianye said.

"I’m fine," Fen Qingran said with a pale face as cold sweat kept streaming down.

The powder Dugu Qianye had just sprinkled worked well; the bleeding had stopped, but the pain was intense.

"The powder stops the bleeding while also disinfecting, um, it might sting a bit," Dugu Qianye explained as she saw Fen Qingran in severe pain.

The sound of Dugu Qianye’s voice called back Fen Qingrou’s wandering soul, and with an "Ah!" she cried out, suddenly remembering her brother whom she had forgotten.

"Qianye, my brother is going to be okay, right?"

"He will need to rest for a couple of days," Dugu Qianye answered.

Finally accepting the reality that he was not dreaming, Hao Pengyou came to Fen Qingran’s side, moved to a different hill, found a river, made camp by the river, and took Fen Qingran into a tent to dress his wounds.

The beasts were all retrieved into the Refining Demon Pot by Dugu Qianye, and Hao Pengyou and the others’ beasts were returned to their Spiritual Beast Space. Although Dugu Qianye’s beasts were no longer visible, the shock they had given them had not yet dissipated.

Fen Qingrou looked at Dugu Qianye with admiration, never having thought that a girl ten years her junior could be so formidable. Her usually lazy attitude had changed, and she resolved to cultivate seriously, no longer to be like her former self.
