Reana’s eyes widened, face burning with desire and embarrassment, her breath coming in short gasps. "Please, don’t stop! Not now, please!"

How could he pull away when she was near an organism? How cruel could he be to reduce her to a beggar?

He only beamed and began to caress her thigh, wickedly hovering around her opening.

Reana’s frustration mounted, her eyes flashing with anger. She would definitely make him pay for this.

"W– what’s your next question?" Reana was stunned at how her voice broke, husky with desire, despite her anger and frustration.

Her face flushed, mirroring the patches of red on her exposed skin. She cleared her throat, "What is your next requirement?"

Ryder paused. This time, his smile was gone, replaced by all the seriousness Reana had never seen before. His voice was raw with emotions as he asked, "Do you love, Reana?"

As if to make her believe, he released her hands and pulled away slightly.

Ryder’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of amusement dancing in their depths – he knew exactly what she was doing.

Still, Ryder made excuses for her, dismissing her behavior as - she was already married with children, and their gender didn’t permit them.

But this time, he thought that finding her earlier would change things, but only realizing while in the dungeon that he may be too arrogant and trusting.

As he moved inside her, Ryder clung to Reana’s body seeking solace, fearing her mind would reject him again.

Reana’s response was immediate – her arms wrap tightly around him, deepening the kiss as her body arches into his.

But as they move in sync, Reana’s hands slowly trailed up his back, and her fingers sank into his coarse hair.

It was lacking enough care, due to his stay in the dungeon.

Suddenly, she broke the kiss, lips barely parted from his. "Ryder..." Her voice is soft, questioning "...what are you running from – right now, in this moment?"
