Chapter 2550 2550: 2550. Looking For Chaos

A flow of heat moved around Ignus as he returned to Genesis using the elemental teleportation rune formation. His focus was already looking toward the bridge to the elemental planes where he knew Walker was. Since he had heard there might be some trouble from Remey, he had been under high stress. As such, a little more fire mana was leaking from him than he would have liked to admit.

However, he had gathered fifty of his strongest dragonkin warriors to assist in the new building on the Sigil continent first. They would be some of the best defenses that anyone could ask for since they were under strict orders and could also listen to Terron as needed.

What Ignus didn't want to say out loud, was that Su had heard of the issues and was preparing to come as well. He'd been told that he should leave Su to keep working since she was making so much progress.

That was impossible though, if anyone knew anything about the hero party, they would know that when one of them needed help, then all of them would act. That was completely clear in the fact that Midnight had already ventured out to the island where another of the bridges was. She would guard it until Walker could get there.

"Hey!" The shout wasn't who Ignus expected to come and meet him. Instead of Remey, it was Gil who was sitting casually on the edge of a nearby roof. "Hold back your fire mana better, you are annoying a few people."

When Ignus heard this he wanted to retort with a small ball of flames but he didn't want to cause more issues. He could see that Gil was right anyways and tightened his control of his fire mana even more.

It wasn't that he and the other royal dragons had issues controlling their manas. It was simply the fact that they were all growing stronger and even a small amount of their condenser manas escaping was a bigger deal than what most people would expect. This was also a sign that their manas were purer than others could manage at this point. As leaders, they were well ahead in strength compared to their followers.

"You heard everything from Remey, right?" While Gil had been very clear on what he gained for learning about the new quest that Walker had to handle, he was very interested in the details revolving around one of the largest issues they would have to deal with.

"I want you to help me search out those breaks with chaotic mana. I have a feeling that we can't sense them properly and Walker can't sense it properly because of the manas flowing through the bridges. I bet that the other undiscovered bridges are sending a lot more mana than what he realizes and that's why he got the quest instead of finding it in advance."

It was a fair assumption. None of them had focused on quests and ignored the system's growth since they were always gaining strength with every action. Eventually people would only use the system as a guideline to make laws and other more clerical aspects of living simpler. Especially when it came to who was strong or skillful enough to handle certain tasks.

"Why are you stopping me here if that's what you want to do?" Ignus was still not sold that this was the best use of his time when he could go and join Remey and assist her.. She was working on potions that might be able to help everyone when there were issues. Especially issues related to too much mana flowing in to one area.

The idea that many people, especially races like the angels who absorbed ambient mana, could get mana poisoning. It was something rarely happening but seemingly on the rise for those who were too sensitive to it. Mana blocking accessories had become more applicable as of late by those people.

"The bridges here and on the island had water mana and wind mana coming. That means the fire elemental plane shifted. So either you will sense where a bridge we don't know is and chase that or you will sense the mana around a place like the lava fields is moving unnaturally and find chaotic mana to bring Walker to." Now Ignus saw what Gil was planning.

"You want to have the dragons search their previous territories to see if anything odd is occurring there so others can look in to the unexplored lands."

"Exactly, even I can sense the normal flow of nature of I keep myself using the high even dagger techniques and channel natural mana. It will let me feel places that aren't right." Gil himself was preparing to go out as well. It wouldn't just be a scout here and there, this would be a full effort for the hero party and some of the most important representatives.

If anyone felt this would slow the growth of Genesis though… they would be extremely wrong. There were so many people who would be planning to show they could handle responsibility to even do more without their leaders watching. They would be proving themselves here. It was an opportunity.

"Then you will tell Remey I will not be by her side." The toothy grin Gil received made him look away. Remey was definitely going to take her frustration on losing some help out on him. She could hit hard!

"Ventus is coming back and has a few elder dragons exploring some past territories already. Mordant is much the same when he heard. Current is too busy and Terron as well. Without those two the new building could be in danger so they will stay to maintain structure while earth and water ways are secured." This was all fine, but Ignus was a little confused.

"Rise?" He expected she would have heard or done something. She's been very quiet lately. Unnervingly so.

"She finished training some of the light affinity angels and other soldiers, now I'm not sure what she is doing." Gil hadn't tried to get in to what was going on, he did know that she had been gathering more and more light mana than what others of the elder light dragons did.

"I may know." Ignus hummed a little before leaving and heading toward the lava fields. He could take he his full fire dragon dominator form and survey what he needed.

While this left Gil curious what Ignus thought was Going in with Rise, it didn't matter right this second. He and the others would help Walker even if he would tell them he didn't need it.

There was some things that Gil knew Walker could always handle alone. Speaking with the true sages and handling some of the intricacies related to the elemental planes was natural for him to handle. When it came to these large quests that would clearly develop in to more? Well, the rest of the party could leap in and take some of the most important aspects to support him.

"Alright, let's go talk to Remey." Gil sighed once before dashing off to the alchemy guild.

Meanwhile, Su had focused on the newest report from Current and a few water mages.

"It is harder for the mages to use their water magic. I have no reason for this but I feel the weakness in my control as well." There was a growl within Current's tone that told Su that he was not happy in the slightest about this event.

"You don't think there is something wrong with the naturally occurring water rune? Do you?" This was her first worry since that had been a major discovery for everyone.

This had stopped Su from going back to Genesis and helping the others when she knew they needed her. It wasn't nodding well that there was an issue here though. A high stress situation could become worse by the second.

"It's in that direction that's sense it. I will investigate…"

"But you don't want to go alone because that will leave this place without the knowledge of what is happening is something dangerous is occurring and you need to manage the mana. I understand. You and I will handle this." Su would be the one who rushed back with information while Current handled any potentially dangerous mana or even monsters if that was the issue.

Current had already been in his water dominator dragon form and scooped Su up in to his claws to carry her since he could move quickly through the air. As they did so, Su began to feel it too. The unravel flow of water mana that her instincts told her was against the normal order. It was only for a few moments, but a nagging feeling told her she was about to encounter something she couldn't do anything about.
