Chapter 127: Chapter 112 Mechanical Tyrannosaurus, Pointing to the Sky for Torment (Three in One)_2
Qin Shou flipped over onto the Greedy Snake’s back, patted its neck, and vanished from the battlefield.
On the ground, a group of people fought desperately. After sacrificing three beasts, they managed to escape successfully.
...
A moment later, the group fled to the riverbank.
"Damn it, how did that kid manage to control that Horror Level beast?"
"Exactly, those beasts were clearly out of control. But why did that Godzilla beast submit willingly in the end?"
"If he advances to the Vajra Realm, after we’ve been chasing him for so long, he definitely won’t let us go..."
"That’s right. At that point, we won’t be able to match him..."
The young men’s faces darkened as they instinctively turned to their leader.
"Boss, what should we do now?"
The skinny young leader’s expression was grim. After a brief pause, his eyes flashed coldly.
"We can’t let him off. While he still can’t fully control the other three Horror Level beasts, we have a significant chance of winning.
Second Brother, release your insect drones and spread them around to locate the boy’s whereabouts.
Third Brother, take care of that Merfolk beast. Don’t let her attract monsters to disrupt us.
Fourth Brother, your focus will be long-range sniping. Even if you can’t kill him in one shot, don’t let him open the Space Gate.
Fifth Brother..."
While the group was strategizing, a beautiful song suddenly floated over from the nearby forest.
"La la la~"
Immediately, the group’s expressions changed.
"Bad news, it’s the Merfolk beast. That kid hasn’t run away."
Just as the leader finished speaking, invisible soundwaves spread outward. The river exploded with splashes, and monsters within the river started crawling ashore under the influence of the soundwaves.
"Roar..."
"Aaah..."
"Hiss..."
Giant crocodiles, water pythons, and other monsters appeared one after another on the riverbank.
"Don’t get caught up in battle, retreat..."
Before the leader could finish his sentence, the earth trembled. The river beasts who had just landed suddenly snapped out of their trance and began to retreat in fear.
"What the..."
"What’s happening..."
The group was baffled.
"Boom!!"
From one end of the dense forest, trees shook violently. A massive crocodile head broke through the foliage, its blood-red eyes fixating murderously on the group.
"Crack, crack..."
In an instant, a giant creature lunged out of the forest, and the group finally got a clear look at this beast.
Its head resembled that of a crocodile, while its body mirrored a Dinosaur’s. Its back was adorned with ridiculously large, fan-shaped fins, and it towered over ten meters high. The sheer oppressive aura it exuded was suffocating.
"A Spinosaurus!"
"Damn it, it actually attracted a Spinosaurus..."
"This Spinosaurus is at least Horror Level Three Stars. Run!"
The group panicked and quickly activated their battle armor, ascending into the sky.
"Zzzzzz..."
A golden ray streaked across the sky, bursting mid-air. Caught off guard, their battle armor shattered and sent them plummeting to the ground.
"Damn it, he’s still around here..."
With their battle armor damaged, the group hastily retrieved new mechas and launched into the air again.
"Zzzzzzzz..."
Golden rays fired once more from the forest. The group activated their mecha defense shields, but they were still broken by the golden rays.
"Boom..."
The golden rays continued their assault, damaging the mecha flight systems and forcing them to land on the ground.
"Hiss!!"
As the mechas descended, the massive Spinosaurus let out an excited roar, stomping heavily and lunging toward where the mechas were crashing.
"Not good..."
The group’s hearts pounded with fear as they hastily controlled their mechas to fire various energy weapons.
"Boom!!"
Beams of energy lit up the air, slamming into the Spinosaurus. But it neither dodged nor flinched, charging headlong through the attacks and hurtling toward the mechas.
"Crack..."
The beast’s massive jaws snapped down fiercely, crushing a Storm Red mecha into scrap metal. The operator hadn’t managed to activate the escape pod before being devoured by the beast.
Next, the Spinosaurus spat out the mecha fragments in disdain and shook its head.
"What worthless junk—tastes awful."
The Spinosaurus roared and started to leave.
But the panicked young men had already opened the Space Gate, summoning an array of beasts that immediately caught the Spinosaurus’s attention.
"These little things might taste alright. Let’s give them a try."
"Hiss!!"
Intrigued, the Spinosaurus’s interest surged. Its colossal tail swung with overwhelming force, knocking a Unicorn beast out of the sky and slamming it to the ground.
"Crack, crack..."
The Spinosaurus picked up the Unicorn, bit down hard, and its tough shell instantly fractured.
However, the Unicorn’s horn happened to wedge itself between the Spinosaurus’s teeth, making the beast uncomfortable.
"Hiss..."
The Spinosaurus shook its head repeatedly to dislodge the half-dead Unicorn, tossing it far into the dense forest.
Spitting out the annoying Unicorn, the Spinosaurus turned its sights back to the remaining beasts before it.
...
"Crack..."
In the forest, the severely injured giant Unicorn struggled feebly.
Qin Shou approached the Unicorn and, targeting the cracks in its shell, finished it off with a few swift slashes.
"Ding! You have slain a Unicorn."
Storing the massive Unicorn into the System Space, Qin Shou kept his attention on the chaotic battle between the group and the Spinosaurus.
Although the Spinosaurus had earned its title as a fisherman beast, its combat strength was certainly formidable—especially as a Horror Level Three Stars monster.
The group’s mechas and beasts were no match for the Spinosaurus, not even for a single confrontation.
Noticing one of them switching to a new mecha and attempting to flee the battlefield, Qin Shou raised his hand and summoned the Space Gate. Three golden rays precisely pierced through the defenses of the mecha’s shield, causing it to crash back down to the ground.
"Ah!! Damn it..."
The young man roared in fury, but the beast’s thick tail thundered down, smashing the mecha to scraps.
"Activate the escape pod—forget the mecha."
The leader weighed his options and made a decision.
The group felt reluctant—mechas weren’t something their families could produce easily, and losing a Second-level mecha was no small loss.
"Boss, what about these beasts...?"
"Let them attract the Spinosaurus’s attention. We’ll self-destruct the mechas and then trigger the escape pods.
The explosion’s shockwave should take that kid by surprise, giving us a better chance to escape alive."
