"Understood!" At the other end of the line, Gu Jinpeng’s eyes glowed. By doing that, he knows what his boss wants and is more than happy to comply. He wouldn’t want to miss this opportunity to mess with the person who stabbed him.

Shen Yuan didn’t say anything after that and dropped the call.

He must finish cleaning up here to go to Baihu Guild’s dungeon on the outskirts of City B. With all the attacks of the Cardinals, his separation from Bai Tingfeng makes him feel uneasy, especially now that his husband is inside the dungeon, where everything and anything inside could cause fatal harm.

Shen Yuan watched the dungeon’s entrance with sharp, unforgiving eyes, and slowly, a petite man in a black cloak emerged from the dark spatial rift of the dungeon.

For clarification, he didn’t use his son as bait. He decided to enter the dungeon because he knew that if the person hiding inside it had a tiny sliver of intelligence, they would not let him enter it because of his apparent topography-wise advantage.

Normal fire mages restrict themselves for safety when fighting inside caves. However, not him. He could bombard the cave with his heavenly foxfire without harming himself and Yanyan.
