Martial Peak

My first cultivation novel, and still one of the best. It falls into the common tropes and pitfalls, but it's also consistently at least good, and the last greater arc is genuinely just well done. I also love the uniqeness of the Open Heaven realm. I'd recommend reading the Manhua however, it's a very good adaptation and is almost completed as well. Of all the manhua adapations i've read, it's by far the best. It basically condenses each chapter of the novel into bout 1.5 chapters and they're still pretty d*mn short. Overall, this is still one of the best Xianxia novels i've read and it's definitely the one of best completed ones.

Epic power fantasy

I love Martial Peak, although it has many flaws.

Some story arcs are mediocre, and others can be quite entertaining.

The romance is... 🤷 

The MC always moves on to a new world, ALL characters eventually become side characters and eventually fade off screen, even his love interests.

Note - The manhwa skips a LOT of details that are in the novel. I mostly read the manhwa (2000+ chapters in so far), but I'll give the full novel a go at some point.

This was my first Cultivation manhua 

I dropped it around 900 chapters in manhua

It is good if you want to be introduced to cultivation,but other than that there isn't much .

It has all the generic things you can think of , arrogant braindead people picking fight with mc for no reason , mc face slapping them , women falling for mc since mc helped them once , etc.

Though like I said it is good to get introduced to the genre 

very good wuxia work , i more read the manhwa instead of novel , but it's one of first work i read about cultivation and make me want to know more about it , overall good work
