~Aurora’s POV

Madam Olivia walked into the room with a pair of shoes in her hands with a wierd smile hanging on her old but elegant face.

"Francis didn’t come back to sleep last night," I said, in a rather low tone. Yes, I felt offended and yes I wanted him to come back.

Madam Olivia’s smile vanished. "Why? Did you both get into a fight yesterday?" She asked.

I shook my head and heaved a sigh, walking towards the bed to sit. "We didn’t. In fact, he came into the room and he...kissed me," I said shyly as a smile escaped my lips.

"I knew it there was something different about you!" She said with excitement. "so tell me what happened next," she whispered like a teenager, waiting to hear the next part of a romace novel.

"We....we almost, you know? But we couldn’t because some old man came knocking on the door," I answered and I hissed.

Madam Olivia rolled her eyes. "I know it’s Oliver. He’s quite troublesome. Even with how old he is, he wouldn’t sieze to poke nose. I see why he doesn’t have a wife at his age," Madam Olivia said and I nodded.

"Everything would have turned out well if he hadn’t shown up. Francis ended up leaving, saying we shouldn’t be doing such petty things. He kissed me and he called it petty. He undressed me and he called it petty," I spat.

I had been holding it all in and I felt quite relived after saying them.

"You miss him, don’t you?" She asked calmly before she went ahead to comb my hair and I nodded. "I never really wanted a family from the beginning, madam Olivia. I only wanted to be strong. Strength was all I wanted, but now that I have met Francis, I can’t help but want to have his child. I want him to love me just as much as I love him. I know it sounds weird, but I feel obligated to take good care of him. He seems like a giant child to me," I said, smiling like an idoit.

Sincerely, I loved Francis.

"The both of you are meant to be, Mala. I don’t know what it is but I sense a strong connection between the both of you," she said, but before I could give a response, the door pushed open.

Madam Olivia and I turned to the side but before I could say anything, Francis picked me up and held me. Madam Olivia gave me a smile before she bowed, left and shut the door.

The moment madam Olivia left, I pushed him and forced myself out of his grip. Yes, I missed him but I was still didn’t understand him.

He held me, still with his eyes closed and I kept pushing him. "Can you just stay still before I die?" He asked and my body froze. His voice was thick and I couldn’t help but remain in his hands.

"What’s the point in holding me now when you would end up leaving me behind again?" I asked. I really just wanted to know. "One moment, you make me feel loved and before I know it, you’re gone again. You might not know but you’re confusing me. I don’t know if you really want me or not. I don’t know if you want to hold me or you never want to see me.

Do you know how hard it is for me? You make me feel like the most wanted woman in the world and at the same time you make me feel like I’m the most hated. You always stir up emotions inside of me and then you leave me hanging in the midst of the desire that you have created." I cried as I complained.

"Can you please just tell me what you want? Do you know how hard it is for me to miss you so much and you’re never here with me? Yesterday, you were the one who started the whole thing. You kissed me like you really wanted to have me and the next, you said we were doing petty things. I love you and I miss you and I want you but here you are, messing with my head!" I cried further.

He still didn’t let go of me. "And who’s fault is that supposed to be?" He asked me.

"Yours," I answered, almost inaudibly.

"it is all your fault, Mala. I should be the one complaining," he said and he abruptly broke the hug. He walked towards the window and I just stood where I was.

"You think I also want to come here and do all of this things? Listen to me, Mala! I never wanted any of this. I never wanted a woman in my life! I never needed one! I never thought there would be a time in my life where I would want to see a woman so bad! Do you know what it feels like when I’m next to you? It feels like I’m going to lose control! It feels like I’m going to die! There’s a fire that burns inside me but only gets quenched when I see you!" He yelled and I couldn’t utter a word.

"I don’t even know what to feel anymore," his voice was deep. "I do not know if I really hate the feeling or if I love it. I feel threatened and at the same time I still want you! Have you even thought of how hard it is for me? I never want to come back here but I can smell your scent everywhere I go, Mala!" He yelled.

"Now are you blaming me for it? Is it my fault that you keep wanting me? If you want me so bad, then go ahead and have me!" I yelled at him.

Yes, I yelled at the devil.

"I shouldn’t!" He yelled back, still not looking at me. His loud voice dropped and all that was left was a sense of pain. "I shouldn’t want you, Mala. But here I am, longing for you. If I have my way, I would take you everywhere with me. I always want to hold your hand and have your head rested on my chest. I always want your skin to come in contact with mine but...I can’t," He said and my eyes were filled with tears.

"I don’t know why you say that you can’t...but you can. I love you and I know you love me too. I don’t care what happens next. I don’t care about whatever the risks may be! Love me!" I cried.

"No," he refused.

"Love me!" I cried louder.

"No!"

"If you can’t love me, then marry me," I cried, hugging him from behind. I didn’t know what got into me, but I wanted the devil, and I was not willing to hide it.
