Chapter 181: Episode 65 Electric Fire_2
"No need to kill him yourself, his life is inevitably slipping away. Why leave traces and evidence?" the Mage said.
"Oh! I’ll listen to you." Zilvra put the knife away, "Somizar, do you have anything else to say? Without you as the assessor of the Spider temple, I suppose the number of the second family’s priests will greatly reduce?"
"Hmph... If it weren’t for me, there would be even more family priests, what do you know?" The Dark Elf spat out a few mouthfuls of black blood and weakly said, "Zilvra, if it weren’t... if it weren’t for you, the power of our second family would have long surpassed yours. If a real war breaks out, I’m afraid you’d... I’m afraid you’d die."
"Not at all." Zilvra hid behind the Mage, watching the Dark Elf fall to the ground, the horrific scene of aging ever more, her hands resting on Lynch’s shoulders trembled uncontrollably.
"So that’s how it is, I seem to have come late..." Somizar sighed, "Mage, you must take good care of her. I originally thought that coming to this world, I could achieve some earth-shattering feats, but I didn’t expect... I didn’t expect I couldn’t even leave this city..."
With that, the Dark Elf swallowed his last breath.
Lynch relaxed the right hand preparing a spell, he felt very strange in his heart, as a Priest, Somizar should easily be able to use restorative spells to dispel the constant aging curse. Initially, when facing continuous strikes, he might have had no time to cast spells, but afterward he already had the strength to move his arms and speak incantations, so why hadn’t he used any spells?
However, the answers to these questions vanished with the death of the Dark Elf.
"Wow! Lynch, I didn’t think you were so powerful, one spell to resolve our priest." Zilvra lay on Lynch’s shoulder, pointing with her finger to the Dwarf floating in mid-air, "But why did you bring Rockleg here? What happened to him?"
"Both of us are seriously injured, have you learned any priest skills at all?" Lynch shrugged his shoulders, letting Zilvra stand on her own, now feeling too weak to bear the extra weight of another person.
"I only learned a bit, didn’t you advise me to slow down?" Zilvra took out two potions, "This is a potion that can restore the body, it should be useful."
"Got it." Lynch gave one bottle to Rockleg to drink and put the other in his own pocket. "Are there more of these?"
"Hmph!" Zilvra lightly snorted through her nose, "Why not go ask the matron of the family?"
"Then forget it, I’ll just keep this one in case of emergencies."
Rockleg groaned twice and struggled to open his eyes. Lynch gestured for him to lie down and not speak, then pointed to the corpse on the ground, "Zilvra, how do you plan to deal with this?"
"I don’t know. You’re the Mage, do what a consultant should do."
While they were talking, the "corpse" on the ground was suddenly enveloped in a milky white light, and Somizar, who should have turned into a mummy, instantly returned to his original state. His face even freed from aging, appeared younger and more energetic than when he had just entered. He opened his eyes, scanned his surroundings, and spoke in Dark Elf Language, "Where is this? Temple? How did I end up here?"
Lynch watched the strange scene unfold, unable to understand what exactly had happened. His curse directly targeted the opponent’s soul, and the mummification effect just now indicated that the spell had already fully worked, there shouldn’t have been a possibility for a "revival."
But now was not the time to consider the cause of this matter, Lynch suddenly stood up, and with the powerful wand in his hand, unleashed the formidable power of an Ice Cone towards the Dark Elf on the ground.
"Protection against elemental damage!" Somizar, lying on the ground, chanted a spell while sliding backward in retreat. A blue shield stood between him and Lynch’s spell, the effect of the Ice Cone was largely neutralized.
"You human! How dare you trespass into the sanctuary of the Spider Goddess! You’ll be burned by the Holy Fire! Your soul will become food for the Hellhound! You’ll pay for your blasphemous deeds!" Somizar spoke while taking out his Spider Sacred Emblem and began chanting a spell.
"You talk too much!" The Mage’s second spell, a lightning beam with a continuous explosion sound, howled towards the male priest. Lynch watched the light trail produced by the lightning from his hand, had a sudden idea, and continued chanting, continuously infusing the spell with the power of the Magic Origin.
