Chapter 558: Chapter 227: The Whereabouts of the Heavenly Heart Grass_3

Jing Zhimei screamed, and in the cold, expressionless eyes of Han Ye, a slight movement could be detected. His right hand chopped toward Jing Zhimei’s neck, and she fainted weakly, collapsing onto the carpet.

With one hand, Han Ye picked up Jing Zhimei and walked towards the outside.

In the room, the man’s deep eyes gazed toward the distant stars, his expression placid, his voice clear, cold, and lazy.

"Mo Yunchen, Qin Qin!... Qinqin!"

The trap he had set was unfolding step by step, how wonderful!

A while later, the figure of Han Ye appeared before the man in the room. The man shook his head in disgust, "You should take a bath before you show up in front of me, do you know how strong the smell of blood is?"

Han Ye stayed silent, bowing his head.

"Alright, just be more mindful in the future."

The man said with a smile, yet his voice remained flat, without any fluctuation.

"Release the news about the Heavenly Heart Grass, to be auctioned at the Golden Hall Auction House in Jin City."

Jingdu City was Mo Yunchen’s territory, while Jin City was his own, and naturally, he wanted the auction to take place on his turf.

Mo Yunchen was indeed Mo Yunchen. He had tried several times to infiltrate his own forces into Jingdu City, only to be discovered by Mo Yunchen’s men, limiting him to introducing only a fraction of his minor forces there, unable to stretch out fully.

"Honorable Master, Mo Qianlin wishes to see you," a man’s voice came from outside.

"Ignore him!"

Mo Qianlin wanted to seek revenge for his son by approaching him, but sadly, he was not yet worthy of Mo Qianlin’s attention or of being used by him.

"Yes!"

The night slowly deepened, as if nothing had happened.

In the tightly closed room, Jing Zhimei woke up from the floor, her face burning with pain. She covered her cheeks in horror and looked toward the nearby mirror, letting out a heart-wrenching howl.

Her current face was even more horrific than Qin Qin’s after her disfigurement, with bone-deep knife wounds covering her entire face. Except for her eyes, which remained unscathed, every part was viciously slashed, her eyebrows severed, her nasal bridge cut, her lips split, and blood pouring onto the floor.

There wasn’t a trace of Qin Qin left in her now, that man... that man was truly ruthless!

Why had she ended up like this? Why did this happen to her? She was supposed to be adored and pursued, reigning high above, not trapped in this damned room, unable to leave or enter!

Under the warm sunlight, Qin Qin sat next to a stone bench, cradling her brother Mo Yuyan tenderly to sleep, with two small cradles in front of her and several servants standing by smiling.

"Madam is getting more and more proficient at holding the children," Steward Wei approached softly, "Master Mo specifically instructed us before he went to the company to not let you strain yourself. It’s better to let the servants hold the children."

Qin Qin shook her head with a smile, "I’m not tired. I’m very happy."

Watching the two children grow and cry every day, she was truly happy. She didn’t know how much time she would have to spend with them, so she had to be with them every day, seeing as much of them as she could.

As a mother, Qin Qin exuded a kind of settled and warm gentleness, loving and soft, her beautiful eyes involuntarily revealing a tender light.

Gently placing the drowsy Mo Yuyan into the cradle, Qin Qin bent down, softly rocking the cradle. On the other side, Mo Yuchu, in her cradle, woke from her sleep, her grape-like eyes opening, her tiny mouth puckering, ready to cry at any moment.

Qin Qin looked at her daughter Mo Yuchu gently, as Mo Yuchu’s mouth that was about to cry stretched into what seemed like a smile towards Qin Qin.

Qin Qin’s lips lifted into a smile as she leaned over to pick up her daughter, kissed her smooth and fair little forehead and said, "Mommy’s Chuer is awake! Are you hungry?"

Qin Qin opened her clothes and fed Mo Yuchu, oblivious to the servants silently leaving. Steward Wei bowed respectfully in the direction ahead and quietly departed.

Not far away, Mo Yunchen looked at Qin Qin with softened eyes as he watched her lower her head, cuddling her daughter, watched her unbutton her shirt to feed her, his daughter nestling quietly in her arms, drinking eagerly from Qin Qin’s breast, her little hands waving slightly in the air.

Beside her, the two pink and blue cradles gently rocked, with her son lying in the blue cradle, peacefully drifting to sleep.

This scene struck his heart, unforgettable for a lifetime.

This was his wife, and in her arms was his daughter; in the cradles lay his son.

In this life, having them was enough!

He would never allow anyone to take her away, not even death itself.
