His handsome and indifferent face, with long phoenix eyes, turned towards An Ruichen, who was startled; why did he feel Mo Yunchen’s gaze was so dangerous? Had he said something wrong?

Eric stood behind Mo Yunchen, giving An Ruichen a wry smile. Master Mo’s sudden visit must mean he knew something about their dealings with Miss Qin.

"Ahem, Mo Yunchen, what brings you here?" An Ruichen approached first, giving Qin Qin a meaningful look to make sure she didn’t give anything away.

Mo Yunchen’s phoenix eyes were frosty as he looked at Qin Qin. "Qinqin, come here."

Qin Qin walked forward and was pulled into Mo Yunchen’s embrace. "What’s this about?"

"From now on, you’re not permitted to go off with anyone else." Mo Yunchen lowered his head and spoke to Qin Qin. She had insisted on going home alone, refusing his escort, so he had sent someone to follow her. On the way, there had been an attempted kidnapping of Qin Qin, but thankfully the person following her recognized they were An Ruichen’s men and knew there was no danger, and so they had phoned him.

"Mo Yunchen, don’t misunderstand, I just asked your wife to help look at my wife’s illness."

Seeing Mo Yunchen’s gaze targeting him, An Ruichen quickly explained. If Mo Yunchen misunderstood, he’d be in deep trouble.
