By the time she had finished tidying up herself, it was already past nine o’clock. Qin Qin was led out of the room by Mo Yunchen, their fingers interlocked. She tried to withdraw her hand, but Mo Yunchen tightened his grip even more. The servants passing by were all surprised by this scene. They had heard last night that Master Mo had taken a girl by the hand, but no one dared to believe the two were truly so affectionate. Only after seeing them still hand-in-hand today did they start to believe that Master Mo had taken this person to heart. They had not expected the girl to be so young, a mere eighteen-year-old girl as Madame Mo.

Qin Qin felt her legs go weak, which did not escape Mo Yunchen’s notice. He promptly scooped her up. Around them, suppressed gasps could be heard.

Even as an excellent butler, Steward Yu couldn’t help but be shocked and amazed at such behavior from Master Mo.

He couldn’t help but admire the girl who had captured Master Mo’s heart.

A lavish breakfast was respectfully brought in by several servants. One of them, a girl who looked to be in her twenties, presented the breakfast. Out of curiosity, she raised her head to take a closer look at Qin Qin, but inadvertently tipped the serving tray in Qin Qin’s direction. Scalding pumpkin cakes slid off the tray.

Qin Qin’s hand was slightly burned by one of the pumpkin cakes. The young servant turned pale and immediately fell to the ground, "Master Mo, I’m sorry, so sorry."

Steward Yu approached with a somber expression and bowed his head to Mo Yunchen, "Master Mo!"

"Get out!" Mo Yunchen exclaimed in a chilling tone, roaring at the servant. Seeing Mo Yunchen’s anger, all the servants quickly kneeled down, bowing their heads in silence.

Mo Yunchen stood up and walked over to Qin Qin, lifting her hand to inspect the slight redness on the delicate back of her hand, a flash of distress crossing his eyes.

"Bring the medicine!"

Steward Yu had already sent a servant to get the medicine. The servant who caused the incident trembled all over, whispering pleas for mercy.

"No need, it’s just a small injury!" Seeing his nervousness, Qin Qin felt a warmth in her heart, "Alright, look at you!"

She smoothed his furrowed brows with a gentle smile.

Mo Yunchen held onto Qin Qin’s hand, his eyes coldly shifting to the trembling servant still kneeling on the ground, "Take her away, and make sure she learns her lesson well."

Steward Yu nodded and gestured for the villa’s security to take the servant away.

"Steward Yu, Master Mo, I was wrong, I won’t dare do it again," the young maid pleaded, knocking her head on the floor with force. On this island, nothing was more frightening than being taught a lesson.

The young servant’s voice was laden with fear, and as blood flowed down from her forehead, she didn’t stop, continuing to plead, hoping Mo Yunchen would spare her.

Although Qin Qin didn’t fully understand the rules here, seeing how frightened the servant was, she knew the punishment wouldn’t be light.

"Let it be! It’s nothing serious, right?" She didn’t want to see someone suffer because of her, particularly since it didn’t greatly affect her, though it would undoubtedly darken her mood for the day.

"Madame, I realize my mistake! I’m sorry! Please spare me!" Seeing Qin Qin interceding on her behalf, the young servant seemed to glimpse hope and continued to crawl towards Qin Qin, knocking her forehead on the floor again with a crisp sound.

Qin Qin supported the young servant’s head, preventing her from kowtowing.

She didn’t quite like others kneeling and kowtowing to her without reason.

"Stand up."

The young servant looked fearfully in Mo Yunchen’s direction, not daring to rise without his permission.
