After the meal, Qin Qin did not linger and made an excuse to leave.

As she stepped out of the villa, Qin Qin discovered that Hou Hongsheng had followed her out.

"I haven’t thanked you yet today. Your name is Qin Qin, right?" Hou Hongsheng scratched his head awkwardly as he asked.

"Yes," Qin Qin nodded, her tone neither warm nor cold.

"My name is Hou Hongsheng, let me give you a ride, I have a car," offered Hou Hongsheng with some eagerness. He usually didn’t like interacting with girls, but she was an exception.

"No need, I can take a cab," Qin Qin declined.

After she walked away, Hou Hongsheng stood behind with a smile, finding the girl intriguing and feeling a repeated desire to get closer to her.

Once she left the Hou family’s villa, Qin Qin breathed a sigh of relief.

"Little girl, who are you looking for? This is not a place for you to enter," said Receptionist A, frowning slightly after putting away her makeup at the sight of their young visitor. The clients who came to this company were usually older and more composed; they had never seen anyone as young as this, decidedly not a client.

Receptionist B also glanced over and said, "Little girl, what do you want to do?"

Qin Qin glanced at them both, her expression turning grave. She hadn’t realized the reception at her company was this negligent. She hadn’t informed Lu Xue Zhen that she would be visiting.

"I’m looking for Lu Xue Zhen!"

When the receptionists heard Qin Qin asking for Lu Xue Zhen, they were briefly startled, then they both laughed and said, "Little girl, you think you can just meet with Director Lu? Don’t be funny."

The two did not notice that Qin Qin had directly used Lu Xue Zhen’s name.

"Is this how you work?" It seemed time to have a serious talk with Lu Xue Zhen; this was the level of professionalism her Heavenly Medicine Group could not afford.

Receptionist A burst out laughing, "Little girl, isn’t this what a receptionist’s job is all about? Or are you expecting me to serve you tea and water? Please leave quickly."

"Yeah, don’t delay us from our work," Receptionist B said, smiling professionally at an approaching client.

Qin Qin smiled coldly, stepped aside, and took out her phone to call Lu Xue Zhen. The receptionists glanced at Qin Qin, sneered, and looked away, paying her no further attention.
