"Do you think you’re an honored guest? Want a better car? Shut your mouth!" one of the darker-skinned men snarled before taking out two lengths of hemp rope to tie the hands of Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin, then blindfolded them both.

A cold light flickered in Mo Yunchen’s eyes, but his lips maintained a smile. If Mo Sheng and Mo Tang were present, they would have recognized that Master Mo’s smile was laden with murderous intent.

All Qin Qin could see was darkness in front of her, yet Mo Yunchen’s hand held firmly onto her own, even though his was also bound.

She reached back to grasp Mo Yunchen’s hand, wordlessly.

Feeling her initiative, Mo Yunchen tightened his grip, and didn’t let go the entire journey.

The two men cast a sarcastic glance at one another; even in such times, these two didn’t forget to flaunt their affection. Unsure if they would even survive, the kidnappers let them play wild mandarin ducks for a little longer.

The van drove for about half an hour before finally stopping, with the ride getting bumpier towards the end, causing Qin Qin to fall into Mo Yunchen’s embrace.

When the vehicle halted, the two men roughly pulled Mo Yunchen and Qin Qin down, "Move, get inside!"

A whooshing sound filled her ears, the ground was littered with many broken pebbles, and the road was extremely uneven. Qin Qin, unable to see the path ahead, nearly stumbled several times, but fortunately, Mo Yunchen always held her hand, keeping her close within his embrace.
