Ethan grunted in pain as he walked towards his sword and picked it up, Freya had started attacking the wolf but it was still chasing Isabella while she created an ice shield to block the wolf’s attacks.

(You need a good clean cut, one would do it, you have to find a way to get your sword to the wolf’s neck)

’How am I going to do that, throwing my sword won’t make any difference, and getting close to its neck is almost impossible, but it’s losing a lot of blood, so it’s going to die soon’

’I have no idea, to cast a spell I just release the amount of Mana needed and it’s done, what if I release fireballs continuously, would that do the trick’

"Bastard... bastard...Die!!!" Freya shouted as she unleashed more flames upon the wolf causing it to retreat backward as Isabella rushed towards her.

"You are going to hurt yourself, stop, we can’t defeat it, we should retire from the battle" Isabella spoke as Freya stopped her flames and both of them held the stones given to them.

The trees around all caught on fire buying the girl time to escape while the smoke and fire stopped the wolf from advancing.

"Wait, what about Ethan, is he okay, did he leave?" Isabella asked.

"I think he’s over there, what is he doing, I think he’s calling us" Freya muttered as Ethan signaled them to run towards him.

"Does he have a plan, let’s just go" Isabella spoke as both of them ran towards Ethan, the wolf also broke through the trees.

"Good, they are coming towards me, and the wolf is coming, I just need to find a good spot" Ethan took a deep breath as he hid behind a tree and used his teeth to hold the hilt of his sword.

He had to use both of his hands to cast his spells so he couldn’t hold his sword, Freya and Isabella saw him hiding behind the tree and knew he must have a plan so they were going to trust their instincts and run past him.

The wolf was too focused on both of the girls, since he got a clean hit on Ethan he didn’t have to worry and it was losing too much blood.

Ethan took a deep breath and focused, the girls were going to run past him any second and he had just a few seconds before the wolf does too, and during those few seconds, he had to release enough flame and wind to create a powerful force strong enough to propel him upward towards the wolf’s neck.

A normal fireball wasn’t going to do the trick so he had continuously release flames from his hands as Hal said, Ethan closed his eyes and focused on the feeling inside him.

He could feel the Mana flowing around in his body, he could feel each and every Mana vein in his body at this moment and Ethan opened his eyes.

[Flame Cloak]

Ethan positioned his body with both of his hands backward and first cast his flame Cloak spell to protect his body against the heat and the next second the girl ran past him.

(Wait for it, and now!!)

From one of his hands, Ethan unleashed large flames with half of his entire Mana and from his second hand he cast his wind spells and both of the spell created an explosion that propelled Ethan upward towards where his body was facing as the wolf ran by.

Immediately Ethan propelled himself he quickly grabbed his sword from his mouth as he was just inches away from the wolf’s neck.

[Ignite]

"Haaaa!!!" Ethan screamed as his sword penetrated the wolf’s neck causing it to scream in pain.

"Die you bastard!!!" Ethan shouted as he dragged the sword downward tearing through the wolf’s neck causing more blood to pour out and the wolf had no way of stopping Ethan till Ethan fell off the wolf’s body and landed with a thud.

The wolf staggered around before falling to the ground as half of its neck had been slashed open.

Ethan laid there trying hard to keep himself conscious, his entire body was in pain as he laid there and immediately the girls ran towards him.

"Ethan are you okay" Isabella asked lifting his body from the ground.

"Did I kill the wolf?" Ethan asked.

"Yes, it’s dead, we have to find Martha so she can heal him, Freya help me get him up, Freya" Isabella spoke as she turned around and saw Freya on the ground.

"I’m sorry, I just need a little time" Freya muttered.

"A little time you’re burning up, I told you no to use too much of your flames, you know it’s a double edge weapon" Isabella spoke as she laid Ethan carefully on the ground and turned towards Freya and completely froze her entire body except for her face.
