Chapter 205 I Want You
Chapter 205: Chapter 205 I Want You
Liam stepped out of the bathroom, a towel still draped around his shoulders, his shirt in one hand as he dried off the last drops of water clinging to his neck. The bathroom mirror had fogged up during his long moment of silent staring, and now the room outside felt warmer, cozier—more grounded in reality.
He was halfway into pulling his shirt over his head when he paused.
Lana was sitting on the bed, legs tucked underneath her, a large bag of chips in one hand and the remote in the other. The flickering lights of the movie danced across her face as she laughed at some silly scene. She looked comfortable—maybe too comfortable. Her long dark brown hair cascaded around her shoulders like silk, and she wore a grey hoodie with the sleeves pulled up, revealing smooth arms that glowed under the warm lights of the hotel room. Her beauty was effortless. But what caught Liam’s attention wasn’t the movie or her face.
It was her phone.
It was vibrating violently beside her on the nightstand.
The screen lit up over and over again. UNKNOWN CALLER.
It wasn’t silent, not really. The low hum of the vibration was impossible to ignore, especially in a quiet room like this. Liam frowned and tilted his head. There was no way she hadn’t noticed it.
Lana noticed the shift in his expression and turned her head. She followed his eyes to the phone, and the second she saw what he was looking at, her own expression changed. Slight guilt, maybe a hint of annoyance.
"It’s from work," she said casually, as if she was talking about the weather.
Liam raised an eyebrow. "And you’re not going to pick it up because...?"
"I already told them I needed a one-week leave," she said, shrugging like it was no big deal. "They’re just being dramatic."
He looked at her for a long second, then glanced back at the phone. It stopped vibrating. A few seconds passed. Then it lit up again. Same number.
"They don’t sound like they’re taking ’no’ for an answer."
Lana didn’t respond this time. She simply reached into the chip bowl, pulled one out, and popped it into her mouth, eyes still fixed on the screen like she hadn’t heard a thing.
Liam sighed and finally pulled his shirt over his head. As he walked toward the bed, he watched her watching the screen, sneaking glances at him every few seconds.
He smirked and sat beside her on the bed, causing it to dip slightly.
"You know," he said, leaning back on one elbow, "you could just talk instead of peeping."
Lana choked slightly on a chip. "What the hell are you saying?" she shot back, suddenly looking the other way, her ears turning a shade redder than usual.
Liam reached out and gently turned her chin back toward him with two fingers, locking eyes with her. "You’re a terrible liar, Lana."
She stared at him, lips slightly parted, her breath catching for the briefest second. Then something shifted in the air—subtle but undeniable.
Liam wasn’t thinking. He wasn’t planning. He just stared.
Her face was perfect.
Flawless skin that seemed to radiate light. High cheekbones, a delicate jawline, soft pink lips that were just a little parted. But it was her eyes—those striking green eyes—that pulled him in deeper. They were like twin emeralds, sparkling, watching him with a curious mix of defiance and something gentler... something vulnerable.
"You’re beautiful," Liam said, almost under his breath.
Lana blinked.
The words weren’t new to her. She’d heard them all her life—over and over. People showering her with compliments. Sometimes for real. Sometimes just to get in her pants. She was used to rizz. But somehow, when Liam said it, it felt... different.
It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t smooth. It wasn’t rehearsed.
He said it like it just slipped out.
Raw. Honest.
And it hit her like a wave.
She looked away for a second, biting her lip, the heat in her cheeks rising uncontrollably. She didn’t even try to fight the blush this time. She felt her heart racing, pounding in her chest so hard she was sure he could hear it too.
Liam was still looking at her. Like she was the only thing that existed in the room.
Without saying a word, Lana leaned in.
She didn’t ask. She didn’t hesitate.
She tilted her head and softly pressed her lips against his.
It wasn’t aggressive. It wasn’t heated. Just a soft, slow connection.
A moment.
Her lips were warm and impossibly soft, tasting faintly of salt from the chips and something sweeter underneath. She lingered there, her eyes fluttering shut, letting the silence between them stretch and deepen.
Liam dragged Lana into his embrace, his hands instinctively sliding down the soft fabric of her grey hoodie. Her kiss was deep, desperate, hot. She leaned into him with full pressure, her lips pressing hungrily against his. He didn’t hesitate. He grabbed the hem of her hoodie, tugging it upward slowly, inch by inch, feeling her back arch slightly to help him. The hoodie lifted over her head and dropped to the side of the bed with a soft thud.
Underneath it, she wore only a snug white cotton underwear and a sleek black bra, the kind that was built for comfort but looked sinful on her flawless body. Liam’s breath hitched the moment he got a full view of her. Her toned stomach rose and fell gently with every breath she took, and the way the black bra hugged her breasts left very little to the imagination. The sides of her breasts spilled out slightly, the soft curves pressing against the fabric like they were begging to be touched, kissed, devoured.
He wrapped his arm around her lower back, pulling her into him, closing any space that dared to exist between them. Her body was warm, soft in all the right places, and yet he could feel the subtle strength in her frame. Lana moaned into the kiss, her fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt. Her scent flooded his mind—something soft and sweet with a hint of spice, something completely, intoxicatingly her.
His body responded before his mind could catch up—he was getting hard, painfully fast. Her thighs brushed against his and his control was slipping. Fast.
Then she paused.
She pulled her mouth away from his, their faces still close, her breath hot against his cheek as she whispered, "I want you."
It was barely audible, but he heard it. And it sent a bolt of lightning down his spine.
The words were soft, vulnerable, and yet they lit a fire in him that threatened to consume every ounce of self-restraint he had left. His jaw clenched, a groan caught in his throat as he stared at her with darkened eyes. He wasn’t proud of how badly he wanted her in that moment—he felt like he was being swallowed whole by need.
Lana’s face was flushed, her green eyes glimmering, her lips still slightly wet from their kiss. She reached for his shirt and unbuttoned it, slowly, one button at a time. Her fingers were trembling, not from fear, but anticipation. Her breath grew heavier with each one she opened, revealing more and more of his chest. When the shirt was finally undone, she slid her hands across his bare skin, tracing lines down his abdomen. Liam’s muscles twitched under her touch—it was like electricity danced under her fingertips.
She leaned in again, her mouth against his neck, kissing the spot just under his jaw. His hands gripped her waist tightly, as if anchoring himself. He could barely breathe.
Her fingers wandered down to the waistband of his pants and Liam swore under his breath, his hand slipping down to her hips, grabbing her firmly. Their bodies moved in sync, grinding just enough to make his mind blur, to make her gasp softly against his throat.
"Lana..." he breathed, voice raw and low.
She didn’t respond, she didn’t need to. Her lips kissed his collarbone, then lower, then back up to his mouth, and it was driving him mad. He grabbed her tighter, rolled with her slightly on the bed so she was under him for a moment, then shifted again until they were tangled in each other.
And then his hand moved lower.
He hooked his fingers into the band of her underwear and pulled it down slowly. The fabric peeled off her skin smoothly, effortlessly. She lifted her hips slightly to help him. It slid down her thighs, past her knees, and dropped to the floor. Now only her bra remained.
And it barely did the job.
Her breasts pushed against the sides of the bra, full and round, almost spilling out entirely. The way they rose and fell with her heavy breathing made Liam clench his fists to restrain himself. The black straps cut gently across her pale skin, making the contrast even more tantalizing. He could see the soft flesh pressing out on the sides, round and perfect, like the fabric was struggling to contain her. Her nipples were hard, poking subtly against the thin material, and Liam could feel his blood boiling just looking at her.
He stared at her like he’d never seen anything more beautiful, more addictive, more dangerous. And Lana looked back at him, chest rising and falling, flushed cheeks, parted lips, her body completely open to him now.
