She had no idea why Brandan Hyde was angry. Didn’t he hate her? Why would he be upset about her being with someone else?

However, this thought vanished instantly when she recalled how Brandan Hyde had people drug her, forcing her into such humiliation in public.

For Viola Harris, he could treat her this way. How could he possibly care about her even a little?

"I didn’t do anything with him. He gave me the antidote; I just slept at Xavier Gambon’s place for one night."

She explained urgently, wanting him to believe her.

Yet Brandan Hyde only let out a cold laugh: "He gave you the antidote?"

Iris Harris hurriedly nodded: "Yes, Xavier gave me the antidote..."

"Brandan?"

Iris Harris was taken aback.

Brandan Hyde casually removed his jacket, his tone indifferent.

He’s a normal man, and being provoked by a woman was only natural, right?

If he got to this point and felt nothing, then would he still be considered a man?

Upon hearing this, Iris Harris froze. Her face turned pale instantly, she bit her lip but said nothing. She flipped over and ran out barefoot from underneath Brandan Hyde.

She didn’t know what Brandan Hyde took her for. Clearly he liked Viola Harris, yet he repeatedly did such things to her, making her feel so cheap.

She wasn’t a prostitute; she just liked him. If it were mutual, she could do anything for him, but given the present situation, she couldn’t endure it.

Brandan Hyde slowly narrowed his eyes, watching Iris Harris flailing as she ran out. He silently sneered; this bitch, playing hard to get? Isn’t this what she wanted? After so many years of repeatedly seducing him, now he really wanted to touch her, and she gave him the cold shoulder!
