Chapter 31: Stalking Shi’Enz of the house Statham
Morning
Statham estate
Behind a big tree, Hound stood menacing as he watched a house, the Statham estate in silence, the weather had a lot of breeze to its cold, In his gray hood coat he almost blended with the dark tree, a window came open making a gleam appear in his eyes as he watch a brown haired girl peer out, stretching her limbs in the process, her chestnut brown hair covering a good amount of her face, she took all the hair in one hand, smiled before looking down.
Shi’Enz was shocked out of her wits when she was being watched while she was in her fathers house, her eyes widen as her hand shot to her lips, she almost ran but noticed the man seemed familiar and menacing in a familiar sense, she stiffened.
Hound, she had known his name on Lydia’s marriage union day, he had kept his gaze on her throughout the day that she had forgot to even enjoy the day as she spent it trying to avoid his gaze, but here he was.
His gaze travelled all over her and he watched as she shivered, attempting to draw her wrap tighter she realized she hadn’t been wearing one, her eyes popped out as she covered her breasts and ran back inside.
Shi’Enz was mortified, she had been spread out in front of a man in only her sleeping kilt, how noble could she measure herself now, but to her utter surprise she hurried to get and was heading back to the balcony before frowning and hiding behind a curtain, she peeped out and unceremoniously their gazes net instantly making her jerk back again embarrassed.
He was still standing out there in the cold.
Hound had not slept last night and when morning came closer he became restless, his attempt for fresh air traced and drew him here, he didn’t have a good reason why until she came our and his lungs replenished, they became filled with fresh air he could swear didn’t exist in this world. But there she is, his air.
A moment passed and Shi’Enz decided she would be asking what he wanted but as she stepped back up in the balcony he was gone without a trace, the small disappointment she felt shocked her to rapidly get back on bed before deciding against it, as she was too restless to simply lie. The day had begun.
Hound got back into the Theodore’s mansion the same time a familiar cart drove in. He felt a gaze on him but ignored it as he steadily headed for his niche, a small smirk hidden in his eyes.

Lydia, after talking to the maids, met Hound in the kitchen already cooking, so she asked the girls to help while she headed to the bathroom farther from the one she shared with her husband, Dorathy and Mira came after her making her doubt her ability to become baked in front of strangers, in the end she agreed an they helped her get into one of her now beautiful dresses.
Lydia then headed to the library, Coffee was brought to her moments later and she started to love the change in the mansion, she smiled content.
A while later, she was informed that breakfast was ready, so she headed upstairs, with the intention to wake her husband, the curiosity as to why he was sleeping late today heavy on why she decided to go alone.
He never sleeps in, she thought, she always woke up to meet him up and busy so this was a first, her thoughts shattered into indistinguishable shreds the second she lifted her gaze to the top of the stair and saw her magnificently decked out husband standing with a significant air of power swirling around him, she struggled to keep her heart still, before she spouted the first non appreciative thought that came to her mind.
"You woke up late today" a small smile came upon his face
"No, I stayed back in bed" he corrected, as he made his way down to her
"Those are the same thing" her retort met his narrowed eyes
"You woke up with a fire"
She dropped her head as he got to her "I have work to do" he took her left palm in his, momentarily surprising her as he led them to the dining hall, already aware breakfast must have been ready.
Lydia’s gaze dropped to their entwined hands and she held back a smile
"When are you leaving?" her question, the minute, they took their respective seats around the dining table, she picked up a cup of water as she glance at Theodore
"I’m utterly hurt to have you wish I’m out of the house this early, Wife" he feigned sadness as he looks intently at her
"Theodore don’t make me choke" she rolled her eyes making him smile at her, she missed it as she was trying to reach for pepper " just wanted to ask how you will manage to get me a carpenter" she continued
"A carpenter?"
She dropped everything and looked at him accusatory, "You said I could furnish the house"
"You’re right, i shall bring a good carpenter before the afternoon" he promised making her smile wide
"And I shall wait for you" his heart did a little squeal
"Come here"
Lydia’s eyes widened before she whispered "We have maids now"
"What do you have running through your mind?" she caught a smile in his voice
"Oh I...I thought" she stopped talking
"What inappropriaty does the prim and proper Lady of Critic Arley harbors in her head" his eyes narrowed at her with feigned suspicion
"Stop spouting... Theodore!" she cut herself off and ended up whisper yelling his name
"Come here" he called again and this time she stood up, her hands on her side, she walked gingerly to him, not giving her a moment to think, he pulled her onto his lap the second she got within arms reach, she had been sitting across him with ten seats in between five on each sides and he’d wanted was to pull her towards him but as he couldn’t he called her up.
"You shall sit on my lap from today henceforth Gooseberry" his hands move around her huge dark green dress
"That is most ridiculous, Theodore you are the Lord of Critic Arley"
"Is that the only reason? Mmm wife" he tried pulling the strings at the back of her dress but it was a futile attempt, then he reached for the front net making him groan
"Now how did you get into this clothing"
"Its... uhh...the maids" he took his eyes off the chest of her dress and only now noticed how slightly tired she looked, there was a sheen of sweat on her forehead despite the cold, he drew her closer to his chest
"It looks spectacular on you" he complimented
"Thank..." he cut her off
"But I don’t like it" his admission
Lydia chuckled making him shift in his seat, satisfaction making him restless "I am certain I don’t want to know why" she whispered, smile still apparent in her voice
"Since you asked..." his nose went for her neck as he ignored her comment
"I didn’t! "She interrupted him with another giggle following after, her palm on his arm to support herself
"It is restricting and I can’t feel you but layers of unwanted fabrics" he complained planting a kiss on her chin "I want to be able to trace your body and feel your warmth even if completely clothed" his warm palm on her face, he gazed at her
"Theo... "
Wrapping his fingers around her neck he guided her head down to his, his electric blue eyes holding her ocean blue eyes, he kissed her, Lydia’s eyes involuntarily fell shut, her soft, plum merging perfectly with his, he pressed her closer into him as he devoured her lips with such urgency that Lydia gasped, giving him entrance into her warm mouth, he tasted and loved her mouth, his tongue tracing the seam of her lips he sinked it in n again this time prompting Lydia to do the same, it became a fight of tongues for dominance as they both got lost in the moment, in the feeling of want and hunger for passion, Lydia gave out a small moan when he squeezed her thighs, his right hand had dropped from her ribs to hold her firm and closer to him. Her moan seem to finally do it, and he remembered he was intending to take things slow, he eased out of the kiss amused as Lydia gave a small sound of protest, making him drop a wet kiss on her lips, watching as she slowly open her eyes to find him gazing affectionately at her, she thinks.
"Good morning, Gooseberry" he whispered onto her fresh lips
"You’re looking different" he added and she smiled her tired eyes squinting
"Good morning Husband" came her meek reply, her fingers playing with his collar
"You’re looking spectacular" she commented looking anywhere but his eyes
He simply shook his head and kissed her again, unable to help himself, she tasted and felt just right.
"I want to do so much to you" he whispered before setting her comfortably between his legs, ignoring the glances the new naids sent their way as they mistakenly stepped into the hall
They ate their breakfast in each others arms, Theodore feeding Lydia as he refused to let her go to her seat, in the bliss and warmth of her husband, Lydia realised she has never left half as happy as she did here. In her new home.
She tried to follow him to his cart but Theodore insisted she stays in the room, as like he had noticed she wasn’t feeling okay, perhaps exhaustion, so he guided her into the room, reduced the fastening in her dress, before helping her into the bed, he left for work
