Chapter 209: Losings Ones First.

Statham Estate.
Critic Arley, Critic-Ishire.
***************
King Salvadore’s closest knight, favourite spy and messenger, Noah, hopped off his horse and waited as the Statham estate guards approached him, they acknowledged him and led him towards the entrance. A maid is then sent inside to inform the marquis, Lord Statham of their presence and she promptly did.
Julius walked marvelously towards the entrance and when he reached the cute knight he stood waiting, he hadn’t invited the knight inside because he had been in his office since morning and would like to stretch his legs, this was an opportunity he took easily.
"There is news from citadel for you," Noah said and somehow he sounded excited making Julius narrow his eyes at him, he had been the one to come get them to the mansion the first time and he had been as cocky as he was now. Julius didn’t like that, it could be bad news, he mused. He stepped forward prompting the man, "Yes?"
Noah let out the news about their daughter’s departure from earth and watched as blood drained from Julius’s face, the Queen herself had sent him to deliver this message and he happily came before asking for the kings permission, the king wouldn’t mind because he would’ve sent for thesame anyway.
"What did you say?" Georgina gasped a question, it surprised Julius who hadn’t been aware of her presence behind him. He pulled himself together and turned to face his wife, she looked as pale as he had become when he heard it earlier.
"Miss Liza Elizabeth first of the house Statham is dead" he confirmed.
And the world lost all air, no oxygen became as needed and desperate as the one that left Georgina’s lips next, "No" she breathed, her eyes unfocused as she clutched her dress. No. She refused to believe but it felt too raw, her chest expanding to take her pain.
Her head snapped to her husband, "Julius, my baby" she cried, her knees giving out.
Julius clenched his teeth his eyes itching as he steadied her in his arms. "I am sorry" he whispered, his voice quivering.
"Poor Liza!" Noah said suddenly and Shi’Enz who had been strolling pass stopped at the mention of her sister. She had missed her.
She redirected with eager eyes, "What is it? Is Liza here?" her voice was jolly as she thought perhaps she would get to see her sister soon.
"She would never be here anymore!" Georgina wailed dramatically if it wasn’t true.
"She is accused of threachory too" Noah added importantly.
Georgina wailed again while Julius turned to glare at the obtuse knight, he shrugged, "I am sorry marquis, I am but a messenger" he claimed.
"Leave" Julius barked.
"Her body might or might not be delivered to you" he added, his fingers running in his hair. Georgina found herself stepping out of Julius’s arms. "We would come with you then," she offered but the knight cocky and disrespectful spat out, "That is not an option"
Georgina was moving closer to the knight now, her tears free falling on her perfectly ageing face, "Why?" her voice was dripping with sadness and anger.
"Your family and its witchery has been banned from the citadel" Noah snapped.
A slap resounded in the air suddenly stilling the wind in the vicinity, Georgina had just landed her palm on Noah’s cheek, he kept spouting nonsense, her brain couldn’t take it anymore, she had just lost her child and if the world would perish that is the only way she could forgive it for taking her child away. "Bring my child to me and I want her whole" she ordered.
"Gina," Julius called out.
"Go!" she yelled and the knight clenched his teeth before leaving the premises.
Shi’Enz stood like a drenched goat in the rain as she cried, silent tears fat and heavy ran down her cheek, as she redden from the emotions she felt. Her sister is dead, never to be heard or seen alive and walking, she would never scold or force a smile for her again and she could her heart shattering at that thought. Liza!
Georgina’s cry continued, her lungs begging for air as she exhausted them over and over again, she felt immeasurable pain at the loss of her daughter, no mother, passive or active would want for their children to die before them, it was like tearing a dangerously vital part of their essence and a parent almost never recovers from it, they remain in pain and
Liza was her first child and none could ever replace her.
She didn’t know why but she thinks about how this was Julius’s fault, her fault and the whole damn world.
"I am sorry my love" Julius whispered as he tried to gather her in his arms.
Her bloodshot red eyes snapped to her husband, she hated him so much right now, "Get away from me! You..." she trailed off shaking her head
He was shocked at her reaction she would never yell, "Georgina watch what you-"
"Did you know that she was hated?" she cut him off her tone accusatory, many times he had claimed he’d checked on her and that she was ok, Had he been lying?! "Why did you let her stay there?"
She cried as her voice shook along with her body, "Why did you not bring back my daughter to me?"
She veered around and headed for the stairs, she felt him behind her but the violent energy coursing through her was unbearable.
Her baby was gone, never would she smile or hug her.
Her Liza, beautiful and hopeful, the little baby who had shown her love and took a part of her that she willingly gave, the first person to ever call her mama, the first of her most prized possession snatched away by nature and she couldn’t find it in her to breathe. She rushed to the window balcony of her room, chilled air rushed for her to breathe in but her chest was constricting so painfully she could only clench it as she cries, her legs shaking she fell to her knees too weak to hold the weight the world has settled on her shoulder, the weight of losing a child.
She never wanted this. she had been too passive and tried to let everything run it course and it just proven how badly it could go, nothing would ever go smoothly now. The world should end, sieze to exist and everyone should die.
It should be the end of the world, she couldn’t understand how this life would simply continue as though her daughter hasn’t just left it. Georgina has lost a lot of her family members before but she couldn’t stomach this one, her eyes no longer saw a present vision, she remembers the past, the moments she’d had with Liza that were prescious and it was every moment, she missed her daughter so much she had thought leaving for the citadel one day only to be told now that her child was no more.
The royalties have killed her! They drained her so much she must’ve become a shell of herself, Georgina believed no other theory, her daughter was killed by the royals and she mentally vowed that she would only grieve before she takes her revenge on them.
