Chapter 209: Bloodstained Garden

Chapter 209: Chapter 209: Bloodstained Garden

Liu Zhanyuan stepped forward and whispered, "Mr. Qin, we can begin; the auspicious time is just right."

Qin Yi nodded slightly and led Xia Yanbing to the front of the hall.

Liu Zhanyuan shouted loudly, "Alright, let’s begin the ceremony!"

"First bow to heaven and earth."

Qin Yi and Xia Yanbing turned around and bowed to heaven and earth!

"Second bow to the parents!"

Qin Yi and Xia Yanbing knelt down and kowtowed to Xia Yujiang and Dong Jinsu.

The two sat nervously, unable to stay still!

"Husband and wife, bow to each oth..."

Whizz!

A sharp whistling in the air interrupted Liu Zhanyuan’s words.

A streak of cold light, fast as lightning, with a piercing sound, shot straight toward Xia Yanbing.

Qin Yi raised his hand; airflow surged in his palm, catching the cold light with a clang.

It was an arrow, made of fine steel, clutched in Qin Yi’s hand, the tail vibrating incessantly, humming!

Everyone was stunned by this sudden turn of events!

Such a long arrow, combined with its incoming force, was enough to pierce through a person, clearly showing that the opponent intended deadly harm.

Who dared to be so bold, attempting an assassination at Qin Yi’s wedding?

Qin Yi’s eyes, once filled with joy, instantly turned icy cold as he flung the arrow.

Whoosh!

The arrow traveled faster and more fiercely than when it came, disappearing in a flash in the air.

"Ah..." A shrill scream came from outside.

The crowd was shocked; it seemed someone had been killed or seriously injured.

Qin Yi said to Liu Zhanyuan, "Continue!"

Liu Zhanyuan snapped back to reality; with Qin Yi present, he wasn’t too scared. He regained his composure and shouted, "Husband and wife, bow to each other!"

Qin Yi and Xia Yanbing completed the final bowing ceremony.

"Ceremony concluded, marriage complete!"

Qin Yi’s lips slightly curled up as he looked at Xia Yanbing, his gaze tender.

Xia Yanbing looked at Qin Yi affectionately; from today on, she entirely and completely belonged to the man before her.

"Qin Yi, the Blood Evil Sect has come to congratulate you on your wedding."

Outside, a sharp, unpleasant voice came, like the screeching of a night owl, causing annoyance.

Duan Xinyuan and the others’ expressions changed drastically; they didn’t expect the Blood Evil Sect to choose Qin Yi’s wedding day to cause trouble.

However, whether they came to make trouble or to seek death was uncertain.

Qin Yi’s eyes focused, he pinched Xia Yanbing’s cheek, and said, "I wanted to give you a perfect wedding, but it seems there’s a flaw. I’ll go take a look and be back soon."

Xia Yanbing smiled gently, "I’m already very satisfied and happy! Husband, be careful."

Qin Yi nodded slightly and turned to walk outside.

Everyone felt tense, knowing Qin Yi was certainly angry.

Duan Yiyi said angrily, "I’m so mad, I didn’t bring a knife, or I’d chop them up."

Duan Yunfan said, "Today is Mr. Qin’s big day, so let’s leave it to Mr. Qin to handle."

Everyone followed Qin Yi outside.

"Xiaobing, what’s going on? Why is there someone causing trouble on such a happy day?" Xia Yujiang whispered.

Xia Yanbing shook her head, "They’re not here just to make trouble..."

Xia Yujiang and Dong Jinsu were puzzled, clearly they were causing trouble, how could they not be here to make trouble?

Qin Yi arrived outside, his gaze cold and fierce.

In front of the main hall was a rocky garden.

An elderly man in red stood upon a rock, his eyes chillingly focused on Qin Yi.

Both wore red; Qin Yi’s looked festive, bringing joy, but on the old man, it seemed sinister and bloody.

The old man’s figure was dry as a ghost, his features ugly, and his green eyes were chilling.

Duan Xinyuan and the others were relatively composed, but for Liu Zhanyuan and those who saw the Blood Evil Sect members for the first time, despite the bright sun, they felt a chill down their backs.

Qin Yi looked at the figure indifferently and said softly, "You shouldn’t have come at this time."

"Tsk tsk..." The elder laughed strangely, his voice unpleasant and piercing, "Seventh Elder Xue Cang of the Blood Evil Sect chose today specially to congratulate Qin Yi on your wedding day."

"Sixth Elder Xue He of the Blood Evil Sect came to wish you, Qin Yi, a happy wedding and to have a drink."

A figure emerged from behind a fake mountain, equally ghost-like, equally hideous.

"Tsk tsk... Fifth Elder Xue Teng of the Blood Evil Sect wishes you a happy marriage."

Another figure leaped onto a several-meter-high fake mountain, carrying a massive bow, gazing at Qin Yi with bloodthirsty eyes.

Not just these three, Qin Yi could clearly sense at least a dozen more hidden within the fake mountain garden.

Qin Yi said indifferently, "At Qin’s joyful event, only friends and family are invited. As for monsters and demons like you, you’re not on Qin’s list."

"But since you’ve come, you might as well stay! If you want a drink, it’s simple... after your death, perhaps Qin might pour some soul-breaking wine for you."

"On this joyful day, Qin wouldn’t mind staining the garden with blood."

Swish!

With that, Qin Yi wasted no more words, transforming into a stream of light, the Flood Dragon Spear suddenly appearing in his hand, charging toward Xue Cang.

Swoosh!

Xue Teng took action, bending his bow, and released an arrow. The nearly two-meter-long fine steel arrow, like a spear, turned into a chilling glow aimed at Qin Yi.

Airflow surged around Qin Yi, the Big Halberd in his hand sweeping across, stirring up wild ripples. With a clang, sparks flew, and the arrow was deflected.

Qin Yi’s speed didn’t waver; using a several-meter-high rock for leverage, the uniquely shaped rock shattered into pieces under his foot, collapsing with a crash.

"Ah..."

A shrill scream emerged from under the rocks, as a Blood Evil Sect disciple who had been hiding was buried alive by the debris.

Xue Cang’s expression changed slightly, brandishing a Longsword, his Sword Qi slicing towards the onrushing Qin Yi. As he struck, the Sword Qi exploded.

Bam!

The Flood Dragon Spear in Qin Yi’s hand trembled, breaking the Sword Qi apart.

The spear stabbed forth, as fast as a red flash in the air.

Xue Cang’s face changed drastically, crossing his sword to block.

Clang!

The spearhead pierced the sword’s blade directly, as sparks flew, and the Longsword in Xue Cang’s hand broke in half.

Poof!

The sound of a sharp blade slicing through leaves was heard, as the spearhead effortlessly pierced through Xue Cang’s chest, right in the middle.

Xue Cang let out a terrified scream, his weathered face becoming more ghastly with fear. He flung the half Short Sword in his hand at Qin Yi, like a dart, shooting out.

At the same time, Xue Teng attacked again, drawing a full bow and shooting, the force astounding. The two-meter-long fine steel arrow pierced through the air, targeting Qin Yi directly.

Qin Yi’s gaze was icy, gripping the Spear in one hand and catching the Short Sword thrown by Xue Cang with his other fingers, flicking it out.

Clang!

The Short Sword struck the arrow in midair with precision, sparks flying, and the arrow was deflected.

Poof!

Blood spattered as Qin Yi withdrew the Spear, then swung it wildly, sweeping a large area with ripples of purple color.

Bam!

Amid the blood rain, the Spear smashed onto Xue Cang’s shoulder, shattering it completely.

Xue Cang let out a ghost-like shriek, and like a cannonball, he was sent flying, hitting a several-meter-high rock, causing it to explode with a boom.
