Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Ignorance is Sin
"Spare me, spare my life, I beg you... spare me..."
Jin Zeyang was so frightened he felt his soul leave his body, kneeling on the ground, continuously kowtowing and pleading for mercy.
However, Qin Yi’s gaze was indifferent, without a trace of emotion. The glass shards floating in the air seemed to be given life. As long as Qin Yi flicked his fingers slightly, a piece of glass would spear through Jin Zeyu, causing a burst of blood.
"The most terrifying thing about people is ignorance, ignorance is a crime. I truly don’t understand the point of your existence," Qin Yi said blandly.
Jin Zeyu was scared to the point of wetting himself, desperately kowtowing for forgiveness.
Qin Yi’s lips pressed tightly together, his peripheral vision swept over to Wang Kai, who was pretending to be dead on the ground.
Wang Kai’s chest had collapsed, several ribs shattered, scared out of his wits. Seeing Jin Zeyang’s miserable state, he wisely chose to feign death.
Qin Yi flicked his fingers lightly, a piece of glass transformed into a sharp beam and shot directly into Wang Kai’s thigh.
"Ah..." Wang Kai’s face twisted in pain, letting out a woeful scream, unable to pretend anymore.
"Hei Ge, Wang Kai." Qin Yi’s dark, bright eyes were like deep pools, gazing at him with an ancient and still depth.
"Spare me, I beg you, let me go like a fart, please? It has nothing to do with me, really nothing to do with me..." Wang Kai wailed, begging for mercy, most wretchedly.
"You really distance yourself cleanly, didn’t you? You sent people to cause trouble at the construction site, then instigated this fool Jin Zeyang. You caused everything, yet you tell me it has nothing to do with you?" Qin Yi said coldly.
Wang Kai trembled as if he were screening dust, as if his father had died.
"I was wrong, I was really wrong, please spare me, I won’t dare again..." Wang Kai, biting back pain, kowtowed on the ground.
"Tell me, who tampered with my wife’s car?"
Wang Kai trembled as he said, "It was done on orders from Young Master Jin, nothing to do with me, really nothing to do with me..."
"He begged me to do it, he’s the one who instigated me..." Jin Zeyang screamed in terror.
Boom!
Just then, there was a sudden loud bang, the room’s door was kicked open.
A burly man with tiger-like eyes and a hooked nose, full of malice, charged in with his people.
This person was Jin Wenchang.
Hearing his son’s screams over the phone had made Jin Wenchang frantic with worry, so he rushed over with his people.
Jin Wenchang rushed in, seeing Zhang Wenhao, his gaze flaming with anger, he snarled: "Zhang Wenhao, if you dare harm a hair on my son’s head, I’ll make sure you die a horrible death."
"Dad, Dad, hurry, save me, save me..." Jin Zeyang cried out desperately upon hearing Jin Wenchang’s voice.
"Zhang Wenhao, release my son."
The Jin Family and the Zhang Family were sworn enemies, and Jin Wenchang thought Zhang Wenhao had captured his son.
"Mr. Jin, no need to get so worked up, just calm down a bit," Zhang Wenhao said with a smile, knowing his old rival was about to meet a terrible fate, he could hardly contain his joy, although he knew it was improper.
"Zhang Wenhao, you bastard, if my son loses even a single hair, I’ll kill your entire family," Jin Wenchang roared.
Liu Zhanyuan chuckled lightly, "Mr. Jin, don’t be so rash now, maybe have your bodyguards step outside first?"
"Director Liu, my Jin Family has no grievances or animosity with you, why are you here?"
"This place belongs to Dong Zhiping, why shouldn’t Director Liu be here?" Dong Zhiping looked at Jin Wenchang with a half-smile.
Jin Wenchang’s gaze turned sinister, "Do you two also wish to interfere with the feud between our Jin Family and Zhang Family?"
"I have no interest in your feud. Mr. Jin, let me advise you, have your people step outside first."
"Ah..." Inside, Jin Zeyang suddenly screamed miserably, "Father, save me, hurry and save me..."
Jin Wenchang’s expression was so sullen it nearly dripped with water.
"You all exit, guard the door, as soon as I call, rush in and chop these people to pieces for me."
"Yes!"
All of Jin Wenchang’s bodyguards retreated out.
"Mr. Jin, please!" Liu Zhanyuan smiled.
Jin Wenchang walked in to see Jin Zeyang, covered in blood, in a wretched state.
"Zhang Wenhao, damn your ancestors..." Jin Wenchang’s eyes turned red with fury.
Qin Yi flicked his fingers lightly, a shard of glass flew out with a swish, and Jin Zeyang screamed miserably as his body erupted with another burst of blood.
"Dad, save me, hurry save me..." Jin Zeyang screamed in terror.
From calling to when Jin Wenchang arrived, about forty minutes had passed, meaning Jin Zeyang’s body was covered with over forty cuts, making him look as if he was soaked in blood.
Jin Wenchang suddenly looked at Qin Yi, eyes widening with anger. But when he saw the glass shards floating in the air as if they were given life, he was dumbstruck. Was this magic?
"Mr. Jin, save us, I beg you, save us..." Wang Kai shivered, begging piteously.
Qin Yi looked at Wang Kai, speaking with indifferent tone: "You’re already useless."
Once the words fell, he flicked his fingers lightly, a glass shard flickered and vanished!
With a pop, Wang Kai’s body jolted abruptly, his eyes froze instantly.
The shard of glass shot into his forehead, exiting the back of his head, penetrating straight through his skull.
With a thud, Wang Kai collapsed to the floor, blood slowly pooling on the ground.
Jin Zeyang was petrified, his entire body shaking, eyes dazed, driven nearly insane by fear.
Jin Wenchang stood frozen, a chill surging up his spine to the back of his head, emitting coldness from his very core.
He looked at Qin Yi’s calm expression in horror; just who was this person, killing without even batting an eye, and in such a terrifying manner?
"Wh-who exactly are you?" Jin Wenchang tremblingly asked. He considered himself well-informed, but the scene before him exceeded his comprehension; those glass shards seemed to have life, more terrifying than the scythe of death.
"Qin Yi, Xia Yanbing is my wife."
Jin Wenchang was suddenly startled, Xia Yanbing, the Xia Group’s Xia Yanbing? He had heard of her, but the Xia Group didn’t mean much in his eyes; he never paid much attention to Xia Yanbing.
"Mr. Jin, your foolish son came to Xia Group today to threaten President Xia right before her eyes, truly very imposing. By the way, this room, your son booked it," Zhang Wenhao said mockingly.
Jin Wenchang was an old hand in the world, immediately understanding the situation.
Xia Yanbing’s reputation preceded her, and he knew his son’s character; most likely, his son had ignited some impure intentions, somehow targeting Xia Yanbing?
"Dad, it was him, it was him who instigated me, not my fault... save me, dad, save me..." Jin Zeyang, due to excessive blood loss, looked pale as paper, eyes filled with terror.
But Jin Wenchang couldn’t care less; he thought of a terribly frightening thing—that all of these big shots, Liu Zhanyuan and the others, stood behind Qin Yi with respectful demeanor, not even daring to sit, only standing.
What did this represent?
It represented that the three of them all obeyed Qin Yi implicitly.
Jin Wenchang felt his scalp tingling; any one of these three could shake up Yinfeng City with a mere stomp, yet before Qin Yi, they were as humble as servants.
This was enough to prove the man sitting in the wheelchair was utterly terrifying.
