Chapter 1454 - Chapter 1454 Chapter 1454 Come to the Hospital with Me
Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: Come to the Hospital with Me Tomorrow Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: Come to the Hospital with Me Tomorrow Baron Lawrence did not like the cold feeling at the corner of his mouth, frowned slightly, but held back his impatience and did not wipe it away. Suddenly said, “Come with me to the Hospital tomorrow.”
He already had some leads on the Old Man’s situation and would investigate it. Even though the Old Man was now staying in an isolation ward, he still had to visit him every day.
Of course, Enna Clark would go with him!
“Okay.” Enna did not hesitate at all regarding visiting the Old Master, immediately agreeing, “What time tomorrow? Should I bring something over?”
Old Master Lawrence certainly wouldn’t lack medical staff, but there might be some small items needed for the hospital stay that the medical staff might not have prepared.
After all, the Housekeeper was also in a coma now.
But as soon as she spoke, she regretted it.
The matter about the Tomato and Egg Noodles hadn’t been resolved yet, and she would surely face gossip again if she brought something now.
She was just about to say she wouldn’t bring anything.
Baron Lawrence had already begun speaking, “You don’t need to worry about the Old Man’s side; I’ll prepare. You can bring what you’ve bought for him.”
The thing she bought… a hand warmer?
“Okay. Oh, Baron Lawrence…” She paused, about to ask him if he thought of something while in the car.
Baron Lawrence’s phone suddenly rang.
Enna Clark’s words were cut off abruptly.
The proud man picked up the phone, glanced at the Caller ID, stood up, and walked to the floor-to-ceiling windows to answer.
“Speak.”
“Baron, I’ve heard that your Grandpa was hospitalized? Is it true?”
It was Adam Sinclair’s voice.
Baron Lawrence narrowed his eyes, his voice low and husky, “How did you know?”
“It’s not just me, Terry Leigh and others know it too. I heard it from my dad–what exactly happened? Your Grandpa has always been healthy, hasn’t he? Why the sudden hospitalization? I heard it seems serious. Is everything okay? Do you need any help?”
He and Baron Lawrence had grown up together, so he was well aware of how important Old Master Lawrence was to Baron.
To Baron, Old Master Lawrence was both a Grandfather and a Father, a Mother–he was his only family member.
With Old Master Lawrence hospitalized, Baron was undoubtedly the one who would suffer the most.
So as soon as he received the news, he immediately made a call.
Baron Lawrence’s stern brows softened a bit, loosening slightly, “He’s okay, no longer in life-threatening danger for now. He’s residing in an isolation ward, and once the situation stabilizes, he’ll be moved to a regular ward.”
“That’s good to hear.” Adam Sinclair let out a sigh of relief, then quickly asked, “What exactly happened that your Grandpa had to be suddenly hospitalized?”
“Nothing much. Just a small matter.” Baron Lawrence did not tell him about Old Master Lawrence’s poisoning.
Adam Sinclair, hearing his response, assumed that Old Master Lawrence had been hospitalized due to a sudden illness related to old age. Since Baron Lawrence said there were no life-threatening dangers for now, Adam did not pursue further and reminded him, “Baron, the news of your Grandpa’s illness has already spread; you should make arrangements promptly, the next 12 hours are very crucial. Terry Leigh and I discussed it–if there’s anything you need help with, you absolutely must tell us.”
Although most of the Lawrence Corporation was now managed by Baron Lawrence, Old Master Lawrence was still the decision-maker of the Lawrence Family, akin to a keystone.
The sudden illness and hospitalization of Old Master Lawrence would inevitably make some people restless.
Furthermore, the stocks of the Lawrence Corporation would unquestionably be impacted, so Baron Lawrence had to come up with a plan immediately.
