It was he who had asked Enna Clark to move aside, yet when she really did move, he was the one who ended up feeling unhappy!

With effort, he shifted his attention back to the movie.

Although he had been looking at the screen earlier, his focus had been entirely on Enna Clark; he had no idea what was happening in the film. It wasn’t until now that he started to genuinely get into it.

He knew the film Enna had chosen – it was a horror movie that had premiered not long ago, with a decent box office performance, but its run had ended and it was already available online.

He had assumed that most women in such a situation would at least choose a hot blockbuster that hadn’t been released yet or even a romance movie.

Unexpectedly, Enna Clark hadn’t chosen either, opting instead for the least popular horror film.

Could it be that she was aiming to use the opportunity of watching a horror movie to throw herself into his arms?

It was as if she was merely interested in observing his reactions to the movie!

It was just a horror movie. Did this woman really expect him to get so scared that he would take the initiative to throw himself at her?

Baron Lawrence pursed his lips, his good mood slowly overshadowed by clouds as the two hours passed.

His eyes narrowing, he pressed a button and ordered in a low voice, “Put on another one!”

He refused to believe that this woman had gone to the trouble of coming to the company to invite him to a movie just to sit here and watch it with no intention of making a move.
