Scarlett clenched the armrest of her chair so tightly that the veins on the back of her hand bulged as she fought to contain her anger. She snorted in derision, giving Enna Clark a cold look while still clinging to her white lotus flower excuse, “As I said, I just wanted Brother Baron to see your true face. You’re so good at pretending, I had no choice but to have someone strip you of your ‘disguise,’ so that Brother Baron wouldn’t be deceived.
