Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart -
Chapter 1102 - Chapter 1102 Chapter 1102 Were done do you understand
Chapter 1102: Chapter 1102: We’re done, do you understand? Chapter 1102: Chapter 1102: We’re done, do you understand? “What did you say?!” Juliet Jordan could hardly believe her ears as she grabbed his shoulders, on the verge of collapse, “Say that again.”
Jacob Clark’s arm hurt from being seized; the muscles in his cheek twitched non-stop, eyes turning a bloody red as he shook off Juliet Jordan’s hand, enunciating each word, “I said I mortgaged the house, stocks, and car, all of it! Now with the stocks down, we’re finished! Do you understand? We’re finished!”
Juliet let out a sob and lunged at him, “I’ll fight you for this!”
Jacob Clark, with fierce anger, grabbed her wrists and roared, “What’s the use of making a scene now! What matters is solving the problem! The mortgage company’s people are just downstairs, do you want them to see me like this?”
“You still care about how others see you, Jacob Clark; marrying you is the biggest regret of my life!” Juliet Jordan clenched her teeth in anger!
If only she hadn’t chosen this man at the start, her life would never have turned out like this.
No house, no stocks, and the 1.2 million her Brother gave her, all gone… Juliet Jordan deeply felt what despair meant.
Now she wondered if all this was some kind of retribution!
Back then, what she did, and now, she was paying for it!
Jacob let go of her and didn’t dare to meet her gaze, “Say whatever you want.”
Juliet Jordan had nothing left to say to him. After a series of blows, she was at a loss for words.
Seeing that she had finally started to calm down, Jacob Clark looked down at his torn collar, took a deep breath, moved past Juliet and said, “I’m going to change clothes; tidy yourself up before coming downstairs!”
…
10 minutes later.
Having changed his clothes, Jacob Clark ran into the well-put-together Juliet Jordan at the top of the stairs.
Juliet had regained her usual proud and noble image, but her eyes looked at him like he was an enemy, giving him only a sideways glance before heading downstairs first.
Jacob Clark, although infuriated by her attitude, knew this wasn’t the time to get angry. He swallowed his rage and followed her downstairs with a stiff face.
Downstairs, six burly men sat on the couch, clearly not the easygoing type, and the servant was bringing them tea.
Upon seeing them descend, they immediately said, “President Clark, Madam.”
Jacob Clark glanced at her and instructed, “Aunt Liu, go out and buy some groceries.”
Aunt Liu could tell that something was wrong at home today, without a word, “Okay, President Clark.”
Saying that, she picked up her usual grocery basket and left.
As soon as she was gone, one of the burly men on the couch, wearing sunglasses, sneered and said, “President Clark sure made us wait long enough.”
Jacob Clark detected the sarcasm in his tone. He wanted to find a couch to sit on but realized that all the sofas were taken, leaving no place for him to sit. Moreover, the men occupying the couches didn’t seem inclined to make room for him.
This was the first time he had been treated this way, and with a tense face, he asked, “What brings you here?”
The first man to speak looked at him as if he had heard a joke and stared, “What brings us here? Don’t you have any idea, President Clark? Of course, we’re here for money.”
“President Clark’s stocks have plummeted, right? Our boss is worried you might run off, leaving his money unrecovered, so he sent us to check on you.”
Jacob Clark’s cheeks twitched violently, “I won’t run! I’ll pay back what I owe!”
