Concentrating his Combat Qi in his eyes, he peered through the somewhat viscous bloody water and observed at the lake’s center, a thick blood-colored pillar of light but was inexplicably halted ten zhang below the surface, its energy signature completely undetectable from the outside.

Without hesitation, Xiao Chen set out towards the core of the Floating Island, his body merging with the streams within the Blood Lake and striding toward the center.

Meanwhile, the other Blood Clan member, half emerging from the Blood Palace, was shaken to the core by the bloody energy, trembling violently and vomiting blood. However, without any pause, they used the violent energy’s backlash to burst forth from the Blood Lake.
