Legendary Battle Pet -
Chapter 294 - 294 Plunder
As they walked along, stopping here and there, it felt almost like a stroll through a market until they reached the halfway point.
"This is our village's Warehouse No. 1."
The man with glasses seemed to have accepted his fate and was quite proactive throughout the journey. He pointed to a locked cave ahead and said.
"Warehouse No. 1? Does your village have several warehouses?"
Ethen raised an eyebrow upon hearing this.
"There is also a Warehouse No. 2, located in the village chief's backyard. Warehouse No. 2 holds the village chief's and Divine Iskandar's belongings, so it's more of a private storehouse. Warehouse No. 1 is quite large and contains supplies belonging to the village collective," the man with glasses explained.
"Now I see!"
Ethen's interest was piqued, and he noted the location of Warehouse No. 2. He then turned to the man with glasses and asked, "Who has the key to Warehouse No. 1? Open it up!"
Upon hearing this, everyone looked at an inconspicuous cripple. "Old Cripple, hurry up and open the door; don't keep the lord waiting..."
The old cripple limped over, bowed to Ethen, then took out a key and unlocked the door to Warehouse No. 1.
What unfolded before Ethen's eyes was a warehouse filled with an astonishing amount of supplies.
Inside Warehouse No. 1, there were over a thousand various firearms, as well as a large quantity of ammunition and other weapons.
Moreover, Ethen discovered a batch of medicinal materials that had only recently been stored there.
The outer packaging of these medicinal materials is marked with "Ling," clearly indicating that this is the batch of medicine lost by the Ling Pharmacy.
In addition, there were various other supplies. After taking a tour around Warehouse No. 1, Ethen felt a sense of reflection. It was clear that Divine Iskandar had ulterior motives. With so many military supplies, it was enough to arm an army of over a thousand people.
"I'll be taking all of these items; you have no objections, do you?"
After gaining a general understanding of the stored supplies, Ethen looked at the old cripple and the others. The group shook their heads repeatedly, indicating they had no objections.
Ha, did they dare to have any objections facing Ethen at that moment? Upon hearing this, Ethen nodded in satisfaction and began to gather all these valuable supplies into his storage space.
The newly acquired storage ring had a large capacity. Putting all the supplies from Warehouse No. 1 inside did not make it feel cramped at all. Of course, he still left some food and other essential supplies for Kiln Village.
Currently, Divine Iskandar's followers were limited to a few individuals, while most of the villagers in Kiln Village were innocent and had no reason to bear the losses brought about by Divine Iskandar.
After plundering Warehouse No. 1, Ethen said, "Let's go to Warehouse No. 2; lead the way!"
Upon hearing this, everyone felt a bit tense.
The old cripple said, "My lord, Warehouse No. 2 is in the village chief's backyard. Usually, only the village chief and Divine Iskandar have the authority to approach it. Are we really just going to walk in like this?"
Understanding the old cripple's concerns, Ethen realized that they were afraid, especially since the village chief was likely a Bronze level Nine warrior, someone they could not afford to provoke.
"There's no need to be afraid; I will handle the village chief. You just need to lead the way. Do you really think my Silver level battle pet can't deal with a mere Bronze level Nine warrior?" Ethen emphasized.
"Yes, yes," they replied immediately.
Without further ado, the group led Ethen toward the village chief's house. The village chief's residence was situated on the flattest piece of land in all of Kiln Village.
Such flat land was abundant on plains, but it was extremely rare in the undulating mountains. Owning a piece of flat land was a dream for countless villagers.
Flat land not only made farming convenient but also provided an ideal environment for work and living. The appearance of the flat land surrounding the village chief's house clearly showcased his prominent status within the village.
"This is the village chief's house," the man with glasses pointed to a courtyard on the flat ground.
"Alright, let's go in," Ethen waved his hand, signaling everyone to follow.
Immediately, the group strode toward the front door of the village chief's house. Their commotion caught the attention of the guards.
Two warriors, also at the Bronze level, emerged from within the village chief's house and looked at the newcomers with surprise in their eyes.
"What are you all doing here? The village chief didn't call for a meeting," one of the guard warriors asked, looking at the man with glasses and the others.
"The village chief didn't call for us, but we have matters to discuss with him," the man with glasses took a deep breath and said.
"Matters? What kind of matters?"
Noticing that the group of over ten people seemed a bit unusual, the guard frowned, filled with suspicion.
"Of course, it's something important," Ethen said, a bit impatiently, as he stepped forward and walked toward the main door.
"Who are you?"
At this moment, the two guards finally noticed Ethen and immediately questioned him. To them, the boy in front of them was quite unfamiliar. However, Ethen did not respond and continued to walk towards them.
"Stop! Otherwise, we won't hold back!"
The two guards shouted sternly.
"Not hold back? I'd like to see how you won't hold back," Ethen scoffed coldly and quickened his pace.
His exceptional agility granted him formidable mobility. In almost an instant, he reached one of the guards and directly grabbed his neck. The guard was extremely panicked and quickly tried to struggle.
But he only felt several acupoints on his body being struck, rendering him unable to circulate his energy.
Having subdued this guard, Ethen took another step, sealing the cultivation of the other guard, who was equally flustered.
