Chapter 110: Chapter 110 Today is an ordinary day no matter what
As May leans into June, the weather warms up.
Having just finished lunch, Uesugi Sakura leans back at his desk, enjoying the gentle breeze from the window, looking utterly lazy and at ease.
Goto Iwao and Tsubokawa Takahiro stand together at the window, gazing over the green treetops at the girls in short skirts below.
On such an ordinary noon, Uesugi Sakura drifts into a nap, reminiscing about the comfort of resting on Hanamaru Hanabi’s lap pillow.
"Hey, hey! Uesugi, Uesugi, come and see," Goto Iwao abruptly pulls at his arm after a short nap.
"Huh... see what?" Uesugi Sakura yawns heavily, rubbing his brow with his eyes still closed, "Do you really have to interrupt my nap?"
"Just come and see, you won’t be disappointed," Goto Iwao says with amusement.
Outside the window, the sky is a refreshing blue, with a gentle breeze.
Tsubokawa Takahiro looks up silently at something, pushing his glasses up with his middle finger, murmuring "oh wow" in amazement.
Following their gaze, Uesugi Sakura narrows his sleepy eyes and sees what Goto promised wouldn’t disappoint.
Above, two high school girls enjoy the cool breeze, laughing and chatting with each other.
With pure looks and fair skin.
Their red scarves flutter with the wind, and their black sailor uniforms sway softly.
The wind guides, revealing their white waists and lace-edged bras, fully exposed.
"Thank you, god of the wind," Tsubokawa Takahiro remarks without blinking, making a sign of the cross.
Goto Iwao raises his eyebrows, saying, "92, 74."
Sincerely, Tsubokawa Takahiro glances at him, "Which one do you like?"
Goto: "74."
Tsubokawa: "Ah, a fellow aficionado."
Uesugi Sakura shows little interest and returns to his seat by the window.
After a long while, the two students discussing elementary math problems return to their seats.
"Uesugi, you’ve changed."
"Yes, I have changed, for the better-looking," Uesugi Sakura, unable to sleep, flips through a book to pass the time until class starts.
"I mean, why do you have a bento every day?"
Goto Iwao still remembers when he ruined a dish with a spoonful of salt, so the bento clearly wasn’t made by him.
"Hanabi made it," Uесugi Sakura says without looking up, continuing to read.
"?"
Such a simple statement leaves Goto Iwao puzzled and envious, "I see you with a bento every day, with a variety of dishes. Can childhood friends really be that close?"
"Yes, that close," Uesugi Sakura’s voice is devoid of emotion.
"He’s a normie; don’t compare yourself to him," Tsubokawa Takahiro suddenly joins the conversation.
"Why don’t I have one?" Goto asks him.
"Asking me?" Tsubokawa Takahiro spreads his hands, "Is it useful?"
Implying that he doesn’t have one either.
"Uesugi," Goto Iwao turns to ask him, "why do you have one?"
Uesugi Sakura stops turning the pages and says after serious thought, "Hanabi moved next door when she was three, I don’t know the specific reason, it’s been so long."
"A childhood friend from heaven? Why doesn’t God bless me? I’ve been so devout." Tsubokawa Takahiro interjects, making another cross.
Uesugi Sakura notices his gesture and says, "Praying to the wrong deity. For a girl, is Jesus useful or the matchmaking god?"
"Hmm..." Tsubokawa Takahiro stops making the cross gesture, thinking deeply for a moment, "You have a point, the devout me decides to visit the shrine this Saturday."
"Very devout," Goto Iwao comments sarcastically.
Uesugi Sakura suddenly recalls what Ogata Asaka told him yesterday afternoon.
"Goto, Senior Sister Ogata asked me to ask why you rejected her sister’s confession."
"What!? Goto rejected a confession?" Tsubokawa Takahiro smells gossip, pricking up his ears.
"It’s nothing, I just don’t want to be that kind of guy."
"Weren’t you dumped? It’s not your fault, why not accept another girl’s feelings?" Tsubokawa says.
"It’s just because I got dumped, so shortly after breaking up,"
This reason is rather odd, and Goto Iwao knows it doesn’t make sense, so he sighs and explains, "Alright, actually I haven’t gotten over the heartbreak yet."
His voice suddenly turned resentful.
"To think that I, Goto, have had friendly conversations with 563 girls over the years, yet my first love ended in just a week and a half. It’s a disgrace!"
"Disgrace!"
He emphasizes once more, then suddenly deflates, "I haven’t figured it out yet, can’t just casually agree to Ogata’s sister."
Tsubokawa Takahiro says loyally, "I support you, you’re quite pure-hearted."
"Alright then, pure-hearted boy Goto, Senior Sister Ogata said if you don’t agree, she’s going to cause trouble for you," Uesugi Sakura continues flipping through his book.
"What will she do?" Goto Iwao is inexplicably afraid of that senior sister.
Uesugi Sakura doesn’t look at him, speaking calmly, "I don’t know."

At the end of the afternoon Japanese class, Haneda Kimu announced that starting late May, swimming classes would reopen on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Cheers erupted one after another.
School swimsuits are something all the boys enjoy, though boys and girls aren’t even in the same area.
After school at the Kyudo Field, Ogata Asaka, who usually arrived early, was nowhere to be seen.
Uesugi Sakura, who had just changed into his Kyudo Uniform, ran into an excited Chitose Mai.
"Senior, senior, is Hanabi-chan really your girlfriend?"
In just one afternoon, she got acquainted with Hanamaru Hanabi and even exchanged Line contacts.
"Is it so strange? Hanabi is so cute," Uesugi Sakura takes out arrows from his bag, speaking seriously.
Chitose Mai’s eyes widen, her mouth forming an ’o’: "I can’t believe the senior would actually compliment a girl as cute, even though Hanabi-chan really is cute."
She fixes her gaze on the expressionless Uesugi Sakura, "Moreover, when I asked Hanabi-chan about her impression of you last night, does the senior know what she said?"
"Very handsome, very gentle."
"She didn’t say handsome, but would the senior really be gentle?" Chitose Mai thinks gentle is the complete opposite of Uesugi Sakura’s impression.
"That’s right."
Uesugi Sakura speaks without much emotion, then changes the topic, "Isn’t your girls’ team planning to compete?"
The team competition can be either a group of five or a group of three.
"I’m not skilled enough, senior," Chitose Mai says, "I haven’t hit the target even once, joining would only trouble Senior Sister Asaka and Senior Sister Fumiko."
Several Kyudo Club members walk in one after another, nodding to greet Uesugi Sakura.
"Good afternoon, Senior Uesugi."
"Afternoon."
Uesugi Sakura responds nonchalantly and continues talking to Chitose Mai, "So what’s your plan?"
"Um..." Chitose Mai thinks for a moment, "Both senior sisters have signed up for the solo competition, as for me, I can only cheer for you with Hanabi-chan."
