"All hail the King of Morado!" one of the ministers shouted with a loud voice.

"Long live the King!!" The people chorused.

"All hail the Queen of Morado." The same minister shouted again.

"Long live the Queen!!"

"Long live the King and Queen of Morado!" Everyone cheered, throwing flowers and ribbons joyfully in the air. The crowd was genuinely happy; the excitement was evident with the way people danced and jubilated.

Nix and Kitanna now sat on the throne, golden crowns adorned on their heads. Their smiles radiated in the crowd as they held each other closely.

"You look good, my Queen," Nix leaned closer, whispering the words to Kitanna.

Blood rushed up to Kitanna’s neck as her cheeks turned crimson. The wide smile on her lips showed that she was enjoying the attention, especially the one coming from Nix.

"I didn’t know you had a lot of sweet words; your vow was so passionate." The young queen nudged her newlywed husband.

Nix tilted his head a little, "Did I miss that part? You bring out the side of me I didn’t know existed. I’m sure I said that earlier..."

He smiled, pinching her cheek playfully.

Kitanna bit her lips, "I do?" She smiled, feeling all giddy inside of her.

Nix leaned forward, his lips touching her earlobes. "I plan to show you how you make me feel; all you have to do is obey me, Queen Kitanna."

Kitanna shuddered at the words; there was something about the way Nix was talking to her at the moment. When she raised her face to look at him, his blue eyes looked darker than usual. The way he stared right back at her made her stomach churn in a sweet type of way.

"Hm?" Nix touched the side of her hair, gently playing with it.

"I’ll obey you, King Nix," Kitanna blushed, playing with her hands. This man! She screamed in her head; he didn’t care about melting her in front of everyone.

As the couple enjoyed their company, not paying mind to the people gathered, Lord Hieron took a sip from his wine.

"Seems you would be expecting your great-grandchildren faster than expected." Adric joined the elder white Lord on his table.

Hieron trailed his eyes, watching the new king and queen before he briefly looked at the crown prince of Avon.

"We never waste time when it comes to that. You should ask my grandson to give you some lessons, especially how to get a woman." The old man grinned, his side eyes crinkling at the end.

Adric shrugged his shoulder, leaving the old man alone on the table. He went to search for his friend.

The after-party was set at the newly constructed part of the palace. There was enough food and drinks of different types made available by the servants of the palace to their guests. Music filled the room as everyone engaged in discussions with friends or newly met acquaintances.

"Listen, listen," a minister clinked spoon on his cup, calling for people’s attention. "The king and his queen will now have their first dance."

Space was made in the middle of the hall, while the zither player tuned in a soft slow song.

Nix held Kitanna’s hand as they walked slowly until they arrived in the middle. Nix used one of his hands to hold Kitanna’s slender waist firmly, while the other one held her smaller hand.

"I didn’t know you could dance," Kitanna whispered when they started moving in rhythm with the music.

Nix smiled, rubbing her lips gently with his thumb. He said, "A lot of things I can do."

The couple enjoyed their first dance, and afterwards, other persons joined on the dance floor. Congratulating the king and queen while wishing their reign well.

Lady Hash and Larel sat together at a table as they greeted guests who knew them from somewhere. Especially Lady Hash, who was a well-known female merchant. Larel was more focused on Labre, making sure he didn’t try to grab everything on the table.

Axilla stood beside the two noblewomen, clapping her hands in happiness. She was so happy she was able to witness a beautiful day like this, out of excitement she was not able to stop smiling.

"Cortez, you didn’t tell me your sister now has a child." Adric picked a piece of cake; when he tasted it, he nodded his head in satisfaction.

Cortez turned to where his sister was sitting, "A long story, Adric," the young master’s eyes briefly stopped to look at the young maid who was clapping like a child.

Adric followed Cortez’s eyes, and when he saw who he was looking at, he nudged his friend, "Cortez! Is it the road that has changed you? You always love your women wild and spunky, Well, I must say, that girl looks good, still fresh and ripe. Maybe I should have a taste." The crown prince said, rubbing his tongue over his teeth.

Cortez broke his gaze, as his eyes narrowed on the crown prince, "Do you not want to see the day you’ll finally be king?" His words were casual and low like he did not just threaten the crown prince.

"Uh! Scary," Adric threw his head back in laughter. "I’m just joking; I got defeated in Morado, doesn’t mean I’ll lose in another kingdom. I’ve drafted a list of crown princesses that are looking for suitors; I should grab that opportunity." The crown prince sighed, briefly looking at the new king and queen of Morado. Then the mischievous smile returned to his face.

"Do you really like her?" Adric asked, jerking his head towards the place the maid was standing.

Cortez took a new refill of his alcohol, "You know what I prefer, like you said she’s... unripe and yet to develop." The young master downed his wine in one gulp, taking a final glance at the young girl. He stepped out of the room.

As the sun began to set, giving room for the night light, the celebration in the palace didn’t tone down; people were more merrier and got drunk.

"You haven’t said anything since; are you tired?" Kitanna leaned forward to ask Nix, who after some time stopped greeting people.

"Are you done greeting? Can I have you to myself now?" Nix asked, squeezing her hands.

Kitanna blushed, having a little idea of what he was talking about. She had been waiting for this day to arrive; it even got more intense when she stopped seeing him every day, it made her miss him more. Tonight was going to be their night, and she couldn’t wait for it.

Tugging her by the hand, Nix started walking out of the room with Kitanna blushing behind him.

"King and Queen Kitanna, I would love to talk..." a minister suddenly stopped in front of Nix, blocking them from taking another step. But his words were not completed, when he saw the look in Nix’s eyes.

"You were saying?" Nix narrowed his eyes on the stubby man, whose weight was clearly evident of his good living.

The man rubbed his stomach nervously, "I’ll come for this discussion some other time. Enjoy your day, King Nix." The man bowed, stepping out of their way.

"I thought so too," Nix continued walking, his strides leading him out of the room.

Kitanna stifled a giggle; she saw the small exchange of unspoken words between Nix and the man, it made her happy for some reason. Why just can’t some people read the room, she thought to herself.

"Ah!" Kitanna gasped when she found her back pinned to the wall.

Nix hovered in front of her, his hands moving up to hold her chin. "Seems your attention is not on me? Princess.." he asked, pushing his leg in between her leg.

Kitanna trembled when she felt his knees rub her inner thigh. "Ah...I, it was... Princess?" She tilted her head, but she was now a queen.

"Don’t like it? You’ll always be my princess..." Nix whispered, his lips touching Kitanna’s neck seductively.

"Now I want to make my name and existence etched even in your subconscious. But first, we need to get this dress off your skin." Nix completed, grazing his lips on Kitanna’s neck while rubbing his knee on her inner thigh.
