Lin Meng dragged Xiao Yi, who was still making the sign of the cross and thanking God for sparing their lives, from the aircraft, and leaned her against the side of the mountain. As for Maya, she was still fussing with the helicopter, as shutting it down seemed to be more complicated than starting it.

A minute later, Maya joined the fight, and with the overwhelming firepower advantage, all zombies rushing towards the helicopter were eliminated.

Soon, three fighter jets flew over the village’s vicinity, losing track of the helicopter. After an unsuccessful search around the area, they returned to the carrier.
