While they conversed, Xiao Cai woke up to see Maya pouring medicine on Xiao Rou’s wound, looking confused. Upon seeing that her man was missing chunks of flesh, leaving a huge gap, she was even more terrified.

Just as Xiao Cai was about to ask, Lin Wu interrupted, "Don’t ask. Rest well, and he can explain it to you later." Lin Wu wondered if Maya’s treatment would work: pouring powder and giving Xiao Rou pills. He guessed he wouldn’t get a proper answer and had to wait and see the results.
