Maya knew Lin Wu had a tendency to forget things he didn’t care about, and explained, "The Death Card we got from the Nightmare Safe House. Death doesn’t drop the backpack. I have two spare pistols in my bag, but together they only have 50 bullets."

Maya found it unbelievable, "Impossible, how could that be?"

Lin Wu ran off in tears, "Anything is possible."

Maya asked, "Did you file a complaint?"

Lin Wu nodded.

Maya was stunned, "Why?"

Lin Wu asked, "What were your conditions for 24 hours?"

After thinking for a while, Maya answered, "I should be at the same level as the emperor. I even own the gardens from the four seasons and can taste any fruit and seafood."

Lin Wu felt like crying but had no tears, and sat down beside a big stone, dispirited and depressed.

"There must be somewhere that went wrong." Maya crouched beside Lin Wu to comfort him, imagining the emotional journey Lin Wu must have experienced in those 24 hours.

Lin Wu sighed deeply and asked, "What’s the plan?"

Caught by the question, Maya stood up, looked around, and after a long time, she declared firmly, "We’re going home."

"Home?"

"Yes, home. That’s a goal. Without a goal, our actions lack purpose," Maya stated. "Unless we can’t find the way home. You should hold onto that belief, belief is important, especially when facing adversity."

Lin Wu stood up, "Okay, home. What do we do now?"

Maya pointed in the direction of some buildings, "There’s a small town that way. We find a place to settle down, search for some basic supplies and medicine. It would be best if we could find some local players to ask about the situation."

Lin Wu nodded, perking up a bit, and while walking, he asked, "Is my swordsmanship gone?"

"Yes."

The mood of both of them became heavy again, and they walked in silence for a while until Lin Wu suddenly exploded in rage, flipping the sky the bird, "Fuck!"

Seeing Maya startled, Lin Wu explained, "They put me in solitary, and then tell me the data is normal."

Maya, "Dawn wouldn’t make a mistake."

Lin Wu ran off in tears, "I know, but I don’t know what went wrong." It’s not wrong, so it must be me that’s mistaken.

Maya said, "You mentioned that you filed a complaint just now?"

"Yes."

Maya said, "Explain the details clearly, let’s figure out the truth about the solitary cell first."

Maya continued, "Based on the information we have, the four known facts are almost certainly completely correct. The first possibility is that you were penalized, and a substantial amount of points were deducted."

Lin Wu asked, "What’s the second possibility?" He didn’t like this possibility.

"I don’t know."

Lin Wu was speechless, a good girl not learning from him.
