Hands firmly on the Silencer, Lin Wu leaned against a pine tree and asked, "Cotton, do you see anything?"

Cotton, leaning on a tree just like Lin Wu, "No." They could only conclude that the bullets were coming from the southeast.

"Keep an eye out, I’ll check the mission details."

Lin Wu switched weapons and approached a large tree 30 meters away with Cotton, one on each side. The Silencer was a sniper rifle, suitable for static shooting. As one would surmise from its name, the assault rifle could ensure a certain level of shooting accuracy even when on the move.

The gunman peeked from behind cover, Cotton fired, and bullets hit the tree, sending bark and wood chips flying, though the enemy had already retreated. Lin Wu said, "The number 1 gunman is climbing the tree, trying to ambush us from the top. Maya, be warned, there is a dwarf at 6 o’clock in front of the villa’s main entrance, armed with a dagger." The drone had taken control of the battlefield situation.

"Five meters high, I’ll lure the enemy out," Lin Wu said and moved forward, while Cotton aimed at the tree branches. Soon an NPC in a Camouflage Lucky Suit appeared on a branch, ready to shoot Lin Wu from 7 meters below. Cotton shot first taking them down, the body crashing to the ground.

Lin Wu went to loot the corpse, the progress bar was half done when he noticed Cotton’s mischievous smile. Only then, he remembered Cotton’s skill, that all the lootable items had already gone into Cotton’s backpack. Irritated, Lin Wu bared his teeth at Cotton, and they moved towards the back door.

A gunshot came from the back door, Maya had taken down the dwarf assassin. Maya, her left hand pressed against the wound, walked up to the dwarf and fired again. Lin Wu arrived running and looted the body first, finding a curved dagger.

Compared to Lin Wu’s measly haul, Cotton had snagged a significant amount: an old-fashioned rifle, a dozen bullets, and a tactical vest.

A personal Camouflage Lucky Suit, suitable for woodland terrains, enhancing stealth effects, with a warmth value of 5.
