King Of War: Starting with Arms Dealer -
Chapter 848 - 762 Respect Us
"ding"
Like the sound of a soup spoon striking hard, the bullet accurately hit the terrorist's forehead.
The subsonic bullet didn't penetrate the terrorist's head, but the tumbling bullet instantly mashed his brain.
Holding an AK rifle, the terrorist's body stiffened for a moment, then he fell backwards with his eyes wide open.
At the same time, 'Spur' kicked open the wooden door in front of him, and three men entered swiftly with guns raised.
Joe Ga had no time to pay attention to Spur's actions, as he and Dorian followed Ayu into the room from left to right, leaving Doctor Bird to stand guard in the hallway.
There were two other people in the room; one was lying on a ratty sofa sleeping, startled by the loud noise of Spur breaking the door.
Joe Ga didn't bother with this 'low-risk' individual because the formidable Ayu rushed over, grabbed the poor devil by the neck, and flung him heavily onto the floor.
When the unfortunate man hit the ground, his body made a series of 'crack' sounds. Just as he was about to scream, Ayu grabbed his neck and smashed his head hard against the floor.
When Joe Ga kicked open the door to the last terrorist's room, he glanced in Ayu's direction: the unlucky fellow was still alive, but seeing his twisted face, Joe Ga was not optimistic that the FBI could get any testimony from him.
Dorian followed into the room shortly after Joe Ga had kicked the door open. The moment he entered, a gunshot rang out in the dark; the terrorist could not aim properly.
As Dorian charged into the room to confront the terrorist's retaliation, he didn't opt for rash spray and pray but instead shot the target in the shoulder, then rushed forward, swinging his MP7 to slam it onto the target's head.
By the time Joe Ga entered, he saw Dorian using zip ties to restrain the target and stuffing the target's mouth with a sock.
Seeing that there was nothing more for him to do, Joe Ga raised his thumb in approval and then turned to head out of the room to check on the next one.
But just as he reached the doorway, a loud gunshot echoed from within the room.
When Joe Ga ran over with his gun raised, he saw 'Orange Cat' holding a Remington, with a terrorist whose head had been half blown off in front of her.
The two loud bangs awoke the surrounding residents...
Hearing the commotion and shouts from upstairs, Joe Ga couldn't determine if they were terrorists or gang members, so he chose to retreat back to the room, pressing his communicator to order: "'Spur,' check the rooms, look for bombs and weapons."
After Joe Ga waited for an affirmative reply from Spur, he continued: "Lesler, secure the front and back doors, start announcing.
Backup teams move in, hold the security passages on the second and third floors, be ready to assist us with evacuation.
There are a lot of people inside the building; I can't confirm if they're terrorists or gang bangers.
Don't hesitate; take out anyone with a gun!"
The moment Joe Ga issued the order, the surrounding streets of the apartment lit up with police lights, and more than twenty black cars and a dozen police vehicles quickly moved in to encircle the building.
Soon after, a team of P.B. security guards, equipped with night vision goggles and automatic rifles, charged into the building's safety channels.
Meanwhile, Doctor Bird, who had been guarding outside, fired...
After two muffled shots, Doctor Bird loudly exclaimed: "Stay inside your homes, don't come out, we are FBI agents on a mission..."
But Doctor Bird's shouts seemed ineffective, as gunfire erupted from both sides of the corridor, forcing him to retreat into the room where Joe Ga and the others were.
Seeing the disheveled Doctor Bird, Joe Ga rushed to the door, fired a barrage outside indiscriminately, and then shouted in Arabic: "Everyone, back to your rooms; we are FBI agents commanded to combat terrorists.
And we are very ruthless!"
With that, Joe Ga threw two flashbang grenades down both sides of the hallway, under Doctor Bird's perplexed gaze.
Whether Joe Ga's shouting was effective was unknown, but the flashbang grenades were certainly massively destructive.
Detonating flashbang grenades in such enclosed spaces caused degrees of incapacitation among the people in the rooms on both sides.
After the explosions, wails came from both sides, but the gunfire ceased indeed.
"'Spur,' 'Orange Cat', take the left. Doctor Bird, 'Elephant,' take the right; blast them with flashbang grenades and confiscate their weapons."
After speaking, Joe Ga pressed his communicator and said: "Turn on the power; darkness makes many people nervous.
Hurry and make announcements to calm down the people inside the building."
Just a few seconds after Joe Ga finished speaking, the corridor lights inside the apartment lit up.
Joe Ga flipped up his night vision goggles to turn on the room's light switch, then saw two bomb vests laid out on a workbench in front of the sealed window.
He quickly inspected the vests and decisively pulled out the unactivated blasters, then lifted a filthy carpet to reveal two cases underneath.
One of the cases held four blocks of plastic explosives and more than a dozen blasters.
The other case contained four AKs, several magazines, and a few old Soviet-made defensive grenades.
Joe Ga whistled, pressed his communicator, and said: "Lesler, why haven't you started yet?
Hurry up and come take a look, you've made a significant find!"
As soon as Joe Ga finished speaking, a loudspeaker announcement was heard from outside...
An agent announced in both Arabic and English, instructing the people inside the apartment to stay in their rooms and not to move.
Then, less than five minutes later, Lesler, accompanied by several detectives, passed through the P.B. security cordon and quickly dashed up to the fourth floor...
As Lesler stormed into the room where Joe Ga was, he saw the bomb vests at first glance. Wide-eyed, he rushed over to take a look, then turned to examine the weapons in the cases where Joe Ga was positioned...
The extent of the firepower alarmed Lesler immensely; had these items been used at a crowded event, the consequences would have been unthinkable.
Just as Lesler was about to speak, Dorian's voice rang out from outside...
"Boss, you'd better come and take a look..."
Joe Ga quickly rushed over, entered the next room, and asked with a frown, "What's going on here?"
There was a body lying in the room, and two women facing the window direction were kneeling on the ground, praying non-stop. Dorian lifted their clothes to check, and found no bombs on them.
Seeing the boss arrive, Dorian shrugged his hands and said, "They've been like this ever since they were deafened."
Then, Dorian rolled up their sleeves and said, "They've been abused all the time, boss, I can't understand what they're saying..."
Joe Ga's Arabic was very good, he leaned in to listen for a while, and said, "They are praying for the safety of their children..."
Saying so, Joe Ga pressed the communicator and ordered, "Leave four people from the support team to guard the emergency stairs, everyone else come up, I want a search of the fourth floor.
These bastards are too cowardly to die themselves, they've kidnapped children to force their mothers to act as suicide bombers.
FUCK, Lesler, get your men moving, I want this building turned inside out!"
While Joe Ga was shouting angrily, Thompson's voice came through the communicator...
"Boss, Jazz Squad has already resolved the fight, but Dagger Squad has run into trouble.
The hostages you're looking for might not be at your location...
'Hellhound' encountered the leader and main force of these terrorists.
They secured the primary target and seized some heavy weaponry, but ran into unexpected trouble.
Now they are trapped in a residential building with six hostages, and the situation there is complex; without the ability to use heavy weaponry support, the outer support teams can't make their way in."
Upon hearing this, Joe Ga incredulously asked, "How many terrorists are there? What the hell are the support FBI and HRT doing?"
Thompson did not complain about the FBI along with Joe Ga's tone, but calmly said, "Boss, those guys are cunning, they're hiding in the black community.
They had people on the outskirts causing gang riots, that neighborhood has a total of four residential buildings, inside are four black gangs.
There are other gangs around the community as well, some shot towards their location.
Now it's chaos there, HRT can't even manage it..."
Joe Ga responded frustratedly, "How can terrorists be hiding in a black community?"
Thompson explained, "Because some of these terrorists are black MSL members, and gang members at that.
'Hellhound' deliberately picked the most complicated area!
Boss, I think the terrorists don't know yet that we've taken down two spots. They're probably trying to avenge their leader and snatch the hostages back, then escape in the chaos."
After listening, Joe Ga glanced at the two women who were still kneeling in front of the window. He took out a pen and paper, wrote a few words in Arabic, and put it in front of the two women.
Seeing their blank expressions, Joe Ga realized that they were illiterate.
Seeing the anxious look on Lesler, who had followed him in, Joe Ga grabbed his arm and commanded, "Find someone to watch them and get a doctor for them.
Don't stop the residential building search, detain everyone found with weapons.
Call for police support from New Jersey around 'Hellhound's' location, I need to get there immediately...
Damn it, why are black gangs such a pain?"
Lesler looked at Joe Ga worriedly and said, "Sir, that area is a black neighborhood, the gang fights there have never stopped in the past six months, and the police have not gone deep into that area for a long time.
The hatred among those gangs has been building up, that place has always been a powder keg.
It seems now, that's how those terrorists hide themselves."
While saying this, Lesler watched Joe Ga, who seemed utterly carefree, gesture for Team A to move out, and called out worriedly, "Sir..."
As Joe Ga approached the doorway, he turned back to look at Lesler and said, "I know what you want to say, but my guys are trapped trying to save others.
If it were just them, they would be perfectly capable of fighting their way out.
Lesler, my point of view might be different from yours, but our goal is the same.
The people of P·B are warriors, we will rescue those children and our people!
Don't always look at us with prejudiced eyes, show us some respect!
We might be rough, but we never kill the innocent!"
A Russian guy from a passing support team heard Joe Ga's words, he raised his gun high and shouted vigorously to those around...
"To strike with force~"
"Ura~"
