Chapter 313 - Chapter 313 Chapter 40 Im Pregnant

Chapter 313: Chapter 40 I’m Pregnant Chapter 313: Chapter 40 I’m Pregnant Adrian once again sealed the girl’s tender lips, tenderly and gently sucking on them, periodically biting down on her lip petals, slowly growing more passionate until he fiercely thrust his tongue inside, entangling with hers unrestrainedly.

The hand placed on Kirsten’s thigh began to slide inward along her soft skin, rhythmically caressing and gently kneading as it advanced. The little fairy’s breathing grew louder and her body became increasingly hot and soft.

“I’m so sorry, Ed, Qiqi was too reckless.” After understanding the “circumstances” of the situation, Inez immediately apologized to Adrian, who waved his hand unconcernedly, “It’s okay, everyone has their accidents.”

This was his plan, to spill some drink on himself and tell others they bumped into each other, which not only explained why he was wet but could also conceal any smells, and with a simple act, deceiving others was no problem. More importantly, no one would think in that direction.

“Now that there’s nothing more here, you should take Qiqi back first, Inez. Those liquids might be uncomfortable sticking to the body.” Adrian said this but gave Kirsten a meaningful look as he did.

“So, we will take our leave, Ed.” Inez nodded her head and left with her daughter. Kirsten gave him a special wink before she left, a fleeting seductive expression as a response to what happened before.

Adjusted so quickly? Truly an early blooming little fairy, Adrian mused internally. Although there was a bit of regret, it didn’t matter; with Kirsten’s precocity, the future indulgences would only be more delicious.

He had no concerns about any problems; the little fairy’s choice between the Golden Globe Awards and the Oscars further confirmed her desire and ambition for him. As long as Kirsten maintained such desire and ambition, she would be firmly in his grasp.

====================================

“Mom, I’m going out; my agent just called me to talk about a new movie,” Sarah said, hopping down the stairs in her dazzling attire, to her mother who was tidying up the living room.

“Going out?” Her mother looked up and inspected her daughter before intentionally sighing, “I suppose you won’t be coming home tonight, will you?”

“Mom!” Sarah immediately showed a shy expression, somewhat embarrassed while looking at her own mother.

“Alright, alright, you’re a grown woman now, I won’t mention these things,” Roselan raised her hands and sighed again, “Sarah, dear, I just want to know about who you’re seeing… You’ve surely done it, right?”

“Mom!” Sarah was both shy and frustrated, not knowing what to say, “Don’t you think it’s a bit weird to talk about this?”

“I just want to remind you to be safe, I’ve put a few things in your handbag, don’t forget to use them,” Roselan said in a mix of explanation and reminder.

“Okay, mom, I don’t want to talk about this with you, I have to go,” Sarah rolled her eyes, giving up on communicating with her mother.

“I’m just concerned about you…” Roselan shook her head, then as if remembering something, she asked, “Are you driving yourself?”

“Of course,” Sarah raised the car keys in her hand, “Would I need someone to pick me up or call a taxi?”

“But you have a learner’s permit right now, and if you don’t have an experienced person sitting in your passenger seat, the police will question you.” Roselan hurriedly reminded her daughter again.

“As long as I drive slowly, no police will question a young lady, Mom.” Sarah sighed, walked to the door, then turned back and wrapped her arms around her mother: “I know you’re concerned about me, Mom, but like you said, I’m a big girl now. I can handle my own affairs, okay?”

“I know, Sarah, I know,” her mother gently patted her back, “I love you.”

“I love you too, Mom.” Sarah smiled, kissed her mother’s cheek, and then left the house.

Arriving in the garage, she settled into the light blue Ford, put on her sunglasses, and started the car on the road. Watching the scenery continuously drift past on both sides, a smile couldn’t help but emerge on the young girl’s lips as she thought back to when Adrian had first given her this car.

“You know, I rarely give you such expensive gifts, Sarah, because I don’t think those expensive things can fully express my feelings. So, I hope you’ll accept it. This car really suits you, and it’s not expensive, so it won’t make your mother suspicious. I spent a long time picking it out,” Adrian had said, very seriously.

He really knew how to consider others. Sarah thought to herself, then sighed again thinking of her mother. She really didn’t know what kind of expression her mother would have if she knew, especially since initially she was…

Although Ed had assured her over and over that there would be no problems, Sarah couldn’t be certain how things would eventually play out. She did like Ed, and her mother had secretly slipped a few condoms into her purse that had never been used, because he didn’t like using them.

As for dealing with those things, they were mostly tossed aside inside, other times on her person. Especially on the night of the “True Lies” premiere, when her mother suddenly came home and stuff was scattered everywhere afterward, it just became a habit to throw them around. Her protests were useless.

About this, Sarah had once inquired indirectly when hanging out with her female friends. The answer she got was: A woman willing to do these things for a man is either just a plaything for the man, or she really likes the man.

Sarah knew she belonged to the latter category. Although on the surface she didn’t mind Adrian being with other women, deep down she couldn’t help feeling sad. But when he stood before her, she could feel his unreserved affection that was neither feigned nor a fabrication to numb herself, but truly genuine feelings.

Especially when she held him, curled up in his arms, that sense of security was something she deeply craved. That’s why Sarah could overlook other things, that’s why she wished he would leave them inside, under the intense, fervent rush, she felt herself blending with him in a way she never had before. As for the possible consequences of such actions, Sarah simply ignored them.

Lost in her thoughts, Sarah finally arrived at the Bossworth Film Company. Adrian’s office here always had been where they dealt with film-related matters.

“He’s waiting for you, Sarah,” Charlize, seeing her arrive, stood up from her seat and gestured for her to enter.

“Thank you.” Sarah nodded, approaching the door but couldn’t help turning back to look at Charlize, the secretary who looked radiant in her OL attire, who, sensing her gaze, smiled slightly.

Sarah entered with a sheepish smile and then pushed the door open. She was truly beautiful, no wonder Ed liked her. That’s what Sarah told herself in her heart. She knew about Adrian’s women; he never hid anything in this regard. As long as she asked, he would answer. So she knew not only about Gwyneth, who was recently involved with him, but also Drew, Cameron, Cindy, and others who were just flings.

“Yes, I know, so go ahead and do as you please,” Adrian, who was on the phone, gestured to Sarah upon seeing her enter, “That’s all for now, I have matters to attend to here.”

“Ed!” After finally being released, Sarah, whose cheeks were blushing and who looked incredibly shy, reached out and tapped Adrian lightly.

“My little cutie has become even more beautiful.” Adrian laughed heartily as he scooped her up and sat her on the single couch in the office, “Do you still remember what I once said?”

“Of course, you’ve said it so many times; how could I forget?” The girl rolled her eyes in resignation as she leaned on Adrian, “Not much of a smiler, when you do smile it looks cold, a bit sinister. If this goes on, I can only play the villain.”

“That’s why I always say you should smile more,” Adrian said heartily as he lifted her chin, “You should be sweet and cute, not sinister and vicious, Sarah.”

“Do you really think so, Ed?” Sarah pouted, looking pitifully cute.

“It’s not bad as it is now.” Adrian moved closer and kissed her plump lips.

After being intimate for a moment, Adrian presented the finished screenplay to her, then stood up to pour a drink.

“A horror movie?” Sarah frowned after briefly scanning the script.

“Is there a problem?” Adrian put the glass of water in front of her.

“Um… a delicate and weak female character, too curious for her own good, oblivious to danger, prone to scream and mess things up, and always the first to get killed…” The girl shrugged her shoulders dismissively, clearly not satisfied with such horror movie female roles, “I’m portraying… um… the power of women in a TV series about vampires–you said it yourself, Ed. Playing a role like this now might be a little inappropriate.”

“Is that so?” Adrian looked at her with a smile, “It seems ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ is right up your alley.”

“Definitely, the Taekwondo I’ve learned makes it easy for me to pull off those moves,” Sarah said proudly, “Honestly, if I encountered the mask killer from ‘Scream,’ or the fisherman from ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’–goodness, that’s a mouthful–I could take them down in one move!”

As she said this, she stood up and performed a kick, even adding a “huh-ha” noise, looking particularly cute and lively.

“I absolutely believe that,” Adrian watched the energetic girl with an amused smile, “But I also believe this movie is perfect for you, Sarah. You’re still a young girl, so your acting range isn’t very broad yet. To maintain your popularity, you can’t rely solely on TV series. A commercially promising high school horror movie is your best bet.”

He pointed to the script on the coffee table as he spoke, “This script was conceived by a writer from the company half a year after ‘Scream’ came out. Due to various reasons–such as not finding the right person, or too many high school horror movies coming out at once–it was never produced. Now that we have the right opportunity, I think you’re perfect for the lead role, Sarah.”

“Alright, if that’s what you want,” Sarah sighed, sitting back next to Adrian, smiling mischievously at him, “Then I’ll reluctantly agree.”

“Reluctantly?” Adrian raised an eyebrow, “Then Miss Sarah, would you reluctantly agree to have dinner with me tonight and then go home to have a thorough discussion about human anatomy in bed?”

The girl’s cheeks turned red, and just then, a beep sounded from the answering machine on the desk, and Charlize’s voice followed, “Ed, Kate’s here. She’s got something important to discuss with you.”

Adrian looked at Sarah, then at the answering machine, and stood up to pick up the receiver, “What’s up, Charli… Okay, hand her the phone.”

He looked back at Sarah, who smiled reassuringly, indicating that he should go ahead.

“Hi, Kate, what’s happened… Okay, I’ve got it.” Adrian didn’t spend much time on the phone; after hanging up, he paused for a few seconds before turning back, looking apologetically at Sarah.

“Sorry, Sarah, some very sudden matters have come up, so…” he gestured.

“No problem, accidents happen all the time.” Sarah smiled gently without taking it to heart, “Then I’ll head back now. I might as well surprise my mom and stop her from worrying needlessly.”

Adrian didn’t say much more. After kissing the girl’s cheek, he escorted her out of the office. Outside, Kate stood waiting quietly in front of Charlize’s desk, simply dressed with light makeup. Despite her calm exterior, the worry in her brows was easy to read.

“That’s as far as we go, Ed.” Sarah said this as she reached Charlize’s desk. She didn’t wait for Adrian’s response, but tiptoed to kiss him on the cheek, then glanced at Kate and Charlize, and quickly walked out.

Charlize responded indifferently with a soft voice, while Kate completely ignored the girl’s actions, only looking at Adrian.

“Come in first, Kate.” Adrian called her in.

After they sat down on the long sofa in the office, he wrapped an arm around the lady’s shoulder, “Tell me, what’s so important that you seem so anxious?”

Kate turned her head away after sitting down and opened her mouth but said nothing.

“Hey, Kate, you know I’ve always been your best listener,” Adrian continued to coax her.

Kate bit her lip, finally looking him in the eyes.

“I’m pregnant, Ed,” she said. (To be continued… For further details, please visit www.NovelFire.net. More chapters are available there; support the author, support genuine reading!)
