Chapter 611: Chapter 411: One Shot_4
Because although Vast Wilderness is located in the Chaos of Myriad Realms, no one has ever regarded Vast Wilderness as a world within the Chaos of Myriad Realms.
In their eyes, Vast Wilderness with the Chaos Martial Ancestor presiding was considered the fourth power, aside from the Myriad Realms Epoch, Secret Forces, and the Doomed Epoch.
"Thank you for your kindness, Respected Daoist, but we have no immediate intention of leaving Vast Wilderness," Yuan Shi said.
No sooner had these words been spoken than a tremendous pressure suddenly bore down on them the next moment.
Under the Supreme pressure, neither Laozi nor Yuan Shi felt at ease.
Fortunately, they both had some control over parts of the Ark, and instantly a strange force enveloped them, shielding them from that Supreme pressure.
But Supreme of the Blue Waves was still aggressively pressing the matter: "Gentlemen, setting aside your theft of the Artisan God’s Primordial Source for a moment, the Ark of Salvation belongs to the Chaos of Myriad Realms. Yet neither of you are from our Epoch of Calamities, but you both took control of a part of the Ark. This is indefensible."
Clearly, they were no longer concerned about causing a conflict with Vast Wilderness for the sake of the Ark.
The Ark of Salvation, they were determined to have it.
"Firstly, there’s something you need to understand," said Laozi calmly, "It was originally the Realm Lords of the Instrument Realm and the Dan Realm who sought to usurp us, but they were instead killed in retaliation by us."
"Secondly, the Ark of Salvation belongs to the Hundred Refinements Epoch. We are the controllers of the Ark acknowledged by the Hundred Refinements Epoch, so what does it have to do with the Chaos of Myriad Realms?"
Besides, one of us controls the energy source of the Ark of Salvation, and the other controls the body of the ship. Even without weapons, we can pilot the Ark away. Do you think you can stop us?"
The final retort caused a change in the expressions of the Supremes of the Myriad Realms Epoch.
Even the Artisan God had nothing to say.
Weapons are indeed vital to the Ark, but if the energy source and the body of the ship are gone, what use are the weapons?
Just then, another figure suddenly descended.
"Gentlemen, I hear you wish to threaten the people of Vast Wilderness?"
The newcomer was clad in green, none other than Nu Wa of Vast Wilderness.
Of course, what the Supremes cared most about was not Nu Wa herself, as she had not become a Supreme and thus they did not fear her.
What they dreaded was the string of bells behind her, and the master of the bells—the Chaos Martial Ancestor!
"Greetings to Daoist Nu Wa!" several Supremes immediately treated Nu Wa as an equal.
"The beings of Vast Wilderness have been recognized by past Epochs, and it’s not a unique case," Nu Wa said with a calm expression, "Houtu had previously obtained the inheritance of the Samsara Epoch.
That is an Epoch inheritance, what does it have to do with the Chaos of Myriad Realms?"
As she spoke, the bells behind her swayed gently, giving the sense that they could strike at any moment.
"If the Ark of Salvation has chosen these two Taoists, then naturally it is their destiny," chuckled the Supreme of the Dao Realm, "Since Vast Wilderness exists within the Chaos, naturally we do not wish to see an Epoch calamity come to pass. We share a common purpose, and there is no conflict in that."
His words were as if the recent threats against Laozi and Yuan Shi had not come from these very Supremes.
And indeed, having inherited the Ark of Salvation, Laozi and Yuan Shi truly deserved the title of Taoist friends from the Supremes.
"Indeed, so it is," Nu Wa spoke again, "From now on, the Ark of Salvation will be kept here to gather energy until the arrival of the Epoch Calamity. Do you all agree that this is acceptable?"
"That would be very good," laughed the Supreme of the Dao Realm.
He knew this was a concession from the side of Vast Wilderness.
A clash was certainly out of the question; Vast Wilderness making such a concession was something they could reluctantly accept.
If in the future they found a way to oust those two, that wouldn’t be an issue either.
Witnessing this scene, various powerful beings could not help but sigh.
The struggle over the Ark of Salvation this time was nothing short of intense.
Even the Lord of Silence from the Secret Forces had emerged, with Supremes themselves personally vying for the Ark.
And the awe-inspiring power of the Ark of Salvation was seen by all just moments ago; under that one cannonade, presumably not even a Supreme would be spared—who wouldn’t be envious?
And so, the fate of the Ark of Salvation was finally settled.
