Chapter 98: What were you two up to while I was gone?

Seojun got up and said,

"I’ll go get the ’toys’." He looked at me and smiled. "You don’t mind if we play with ’toys’, right, Hyung?"

Why did the word ’toys’ sound ominous coming from him?

But, I guess it’s nothing to worry about. So I nodded and said,

"I... I don’t mind."

He smiled and walked away.

"So, Hyung, would you like to eat the rest of the cake in the meantime?" Seojin asked with a friendly smile, not like the one I had seen just seconds ago.

’Did I imagine it? No, he definitely looked like he wanted to devour me. Or, was he just hungry for the cake and didn’t want to say anything?’ I picked up the fork and cut out a little piece of the cake.

Then, I pushed it to his face and said,

"Here. Don’t try to act like you don’t want it." I said and he looked at me, surprised.

Then, he chuckled and said,

"I do want it, Hyung." He said and I smiled, feeling that it was indeed the cake he wanted.

But then, he said,

"But I want it from your mouth, Hyung. Not from the fork." He looked at me with that same gaze Seojin had in his eyes when he was staring at me a moment ago.

What was it? What was that gaze?

It looked familiar but yet I couldn’t point out what it was.

I looked intently but still couldn’t get it and instead, lost myself for a moment and didn’t know when Seojin had snatched the fork from my hand.

"So, Hyung, will you feed it to me or not?"

I stared at the expectation in his eyes.

Why would he want me to do such a thing?

I honestly didn’t feel comfortable about it and felt it may lead to something else but... That look in his eyes was so compelling that I decided to spoil him a little bit.

We already did it once, what was the difference if we did it one more time?

"A-alright." I said and caught the cake in between my lips. I felt nervous as he leaned closer and with every inch closing in, my heart went, ’badum badum’.

Seojin closed the space and then smiled.

"You’re so nice, Hyung." He said and stuck his lips to mine, pushing the cake into my own mouth. "So, you can have it, Hyung." He said.

The cake melted in my mouth and his tongue found its way in, mixing the chocolate with my saliva until I swallowed.

He broke the kiss and smiled at me, who was on the verge of losing my mind because of his kiss and he smiled.

"How was it, Hyung? Didn’t it taste way better with a kiss?"

"I... I..." I threw my face away, embarrassed.

I couldn’t speak the truth. If I did, he would know that I enjoyed it more than I should’ve.

Honestly, I didn’t expect him to push the cake back in my mouth and that kiss...

It made me wonder at times. Where did the twins learn to kiss? They were so great at it like they had been at it for years.

At the thought of that, my eyes widened.

What was I thinking again? It wouldn’t be uncommon for guys their age to have dated countless times.

They were so good-looking and were probably very popular in their school days. How could they have stayed single? How could...? I clenched my fists and pursed my lips.

Thinking about it made me jealous for some reason.

"What were you two up to while I was gone?" Seojun asked, approaching with a box and an empty bottle.

I snapped out of my thoughts and raised my head.

"Oh, it’s just..." I recognized the box in his hand.

It was the same box that the delivery man was carrying just the other day.

Were the toys in there? Did he order them in preparation for our playtime?

Seeing that he put in so much effort, I suddenly grew glad that I did not bail on them or run away.

"What’s in the box?" I asked as he sat next to me.

"You’ll find out soon," he said with a suspicious smile.

"Hyung, we’ll start with a little cliche ’truth or dare’ to raise the atmosphere. What do you think?" Seojin asked and I nodded.

Well, I had nothing to hide so I didn’t mind. Rather, I was the one who didn’t know anything about the twins so maybe this was a good chance for me.

"I’ll go get the alcohol." Seojin said, smiling delightedly as he carried the cake. But I caught on to his shirt.

"Wait, alcohol? It’s not even afternoon yet." I said.

"Oh? Do you perhaps have plans for later? I hope you don’t because that would just ruin the fun." He said but I shook my head.

"No, I don’t have anywhere to be." I said. "But I was thinking drinking alcohol as the penalty was too much."

"It won’t be too much with a cup or two." He said and then turned to me. "Why are you so worried? Do you plan to hide things from us?"

"No, I..." I lowered my head and bit my lip. I was planning to use this game to ask them a lot of personal questions and there may be things they didn’t want to talk about. I didn’t want to force them to answer, so they would need to drink to bail themselves.

Was this really okay?

"I don’t have anything to hide." I said and he smiled.

"In that case, there’s nothing to worry about." He said and turned to Seojun. "Right, Matteo?"

"Yeah, I have no problem with it." Seojun said.

Well, if they were okay with it then it was fine.

I let go of his shirt and he took the cake to the kitchen.

"I’ll keep this for you to eat later, since you liked it so much."

I waited, my hands on my thighs as Seojin picked out the bottles of soju he kept in the fridge.

"Hyung, I’ll dim the lights a bit." Seojun said, getting up from his spot and I nodded.

A dim atmosphere was more like it.

The place grew dim, with a little bit of light sipping in through the blinds, but it was okay. The living room was dim enough to mistake it for the night.

But it was not so dim that we couldn’t see each other’s faces.

We sat on the floor, a little space between each of us, and the empty table stood in the center of us.

"Now, the rules are simple." Seojin began. "The one who spins the bottle gets to ask the question to whoever the mouth lands on. There are two truths and a compulsory dare for each person. Understand?" Seojun and I nodded. "All demands and all questions are allowed. Is that okay?" Once again, we nodded. "Now," he clapped his hands together. "...let us begin."
