Chapter 338: Yeah, we had a deal

Dongwoo growled angrily and was vividly fuming, his trembling clenched fist bruised red from hitting a brick-layered face instead of flesh, but he did not care about that.

He was just so angry that such a thing was going on in front of him and it involved Minwoo.

"Get away from my brother, you crazy scumbag."

Minwoo was stunned speechless. What just happened and... Where did Dongwoo come from?

He looked at Alejandro in horror, his face turned to the side from the attack he just got. And then he started to cackle.

Oh no, this was bad news.

"H-hyung," Minwoo called, frantically reaching his hand out to hold Dongwoo’s hand. "Hyung, let’s...let’s get out of here." He said, but Dongwoo was still fuming.

"Not now, Minwoo. I wanna know what’s going on." Dongwoo said, facing him with angry eyes. "What is going on between you and this guy?"

"It’s nothing." Minwoo said, still trying to take his hand. They had to get out of there before Alejandro lost it.

He could become a madman.

"It’s just a transaction. Now, let’s go. We’re done here." He successfully took Dongwoo’s hand and started leading him away in a hurry but he stopped.

He turned his head slowly, wondering why Dongwoo was no longer moving his feet. Only to be horrified at the sight of Dongwoo being held at gunpoint.

Alejandro cocked the gun and held a wild grin, looking at Minwoo.

"You... What are you doing?" Minwoo yelled at him. "Get that away from my Hyung. Didn’t we have a deal? Get that away."

"Yeah, we had a deal." Alejandro said, his deep voice sending out his menacing intentions. He slipped his hand over Dongwoo’s neck as if planning to choke him. "But you don’t seem to want to comply anymore."

"What do you mean I don’t seem to comply? I just said we can’t do it today because I’m still recovering. Just...let go of him." His eyes stayed on the gun, terrified. "You’re scaring him. Let him go." He yelled.

"Ah, so this is what this is all about." Dongwoo said, not the least shaken by the gun pointed at his head.

He was scared, yes, but he knew if he showed fear, it would only give this man more leverage to manipulate him and his brother.

He grabbed Alejandro’s hand, gulped, and then pushed it down slowly. Alejandro watched him, wondering what a feeble thing like him was going to do.

He turned around, and the gun was pointed directly at his forehead.

"The reason why Minwoo came to you was because of me, wasn’t it?" He asked, looking fearlessly at the fun. "No wonder it has been so quiet lately. He traded himself for my cause, ain’t it?" He had a dry smile on his face and then it turned to anger. He glared at Alejandro. "It’s his choice, I get it but how can you manipulate...?" He gulped back his words and then held the gun, shocking them both. "Well, it doesn’t matter. We don’t need to say too much. You’re the kind who won’t listen to what others have to say or feel remorse. I’ve met a lot of people in my life to understand your type."

"Oh ho! So, tell me, Lee Dongwoo, what is my type?" He asked, and Dongwoo moved his eyes from him to the gun and then to him again.

To think that in all his life, the one thing he was not that scared of was standing at gunpoint. Ironic, isn’t it?

He had so many fears and was shaken so easily by mere humans, yet, the sight of a gun pointing directly at his forehead by an extremely dangerous man did not scare him much.

He wondered why.

Was it because he was defending his brother or was it because he could not feel any hostility from this man?

Well, that didn’t matter. He was already in his bad book for manipulating Minwoo like he did.

"Your type..." He began,

"Hyung, don’t provoke him." Minwoo called out, his heart beating dropping and rising.

"I’m not trying to provoke him. I’m just going to say the truth." He said. "Alejandro Barone, am I correct?"

"Very."

"You’re very resilient, stubborn, and diligent. As well as dedicated. This is your type." He fearlessly stated. "One good look and I know for sure that Seojun is a splitting image of you, yet you two are so vastly different."

"Oh, so you’re comparing me with that little suckling." He said, brushing his chin. "Well, you’re not entirely wrong." He added. "But then again, that’s not going to stop me from getting back at you for that flimsy punch. It didn’t do much but I like to go for an eye for an eye."

"So, you’re going to get back at him by pulling the trigger at his head?" Minwoo yelled at him, in disbelief that he would take things that far. "Aren’t you going a bit too extreme?"

"Nothing’s too extreme when it comes to payback, bunny." Alejandro smirked. "Especially when faced with eyes that are glaringly so dangerous." He looked into Dongwoo’s eyes.

They were fearless and if looks could kill, his head might’ve been rolling.

Dongwoo came to understand everything that had been going on with Minwoo just by being trapped in this sticky situation. Minwoo and Sungho weren’t fighting and something told him Sungho knew what Minwoo was doing, even if it wasn’t in context, that was why he sounded so stiff and glum answering his call.

This situation... Minwoo didn’t want it.

So, he was in this because of him.

"As this brother of yours said," Alejandro said, "I’m quite resilient and stubborn. I won’t let go of tat. I must return it with tit."

"Would you just shut it?" Minwoo’s eyes bleed with fear and anxiety. He couldn’t even take a step because he was scared Alejandro would pull the trigger on instinct. He decided to resort to threats. "If you do this, this deal is off. You will never see me again. You and I will have no connection whatsoever. You..."

"Then go ahead." Dongwoo boldly said. He slowly raised his hand and held the gun, pushing it to press on his forehead.

"What the hell are you doing, Hyung?"

"If I’m dead, you won’t go ahead with this so-called deal, right?" He asked, glancing back with just his eyes. "Don’t worry, this Hyung won’t hold you back."

He had a plan. And that plan was to throw Alejandro off his own game. Thankfully, he thought his nephews well.
