Dongwoo poured his cocoa into a plastic disposable cup, like a takeout coffee cup, and held the bread in his hand while waiting for both of them to hurry up.

"Hyung, you could just eat comfortably while you wait for us."

It was almost like they were being slow on purpose.

"Being impatient won’t make us faster." Seojun pointed out and Dongwoo decided to sit down and be ’patient’.

He drank his cocoa and nodded his head. It was good.

While he ate his toasted bread, he got a call from Geumtae. It had been a while and he wondered if he was calling because of Lily.

He looked up at the twins who were taking their time putting on their shoes and decided to answer,

"Good mor-" his greeting was cut short by Geumtae’s sudden question,

"Hyung, are you being green hat-ed?" He asked and Dongwoo’s eyebrows shifted.

"Green... hat-ed?"

"That’s a friendly way of asking if your partners are cheating on you." Geumtae said and Dongwoo shook his head.

"So, you saw the gossip news." He said, picking up his cocoa.

"I don’t think there’s anyone in the country who hasn’t." He said, and Dongwoo nodded. "Well, tell me. You sound calm. Is that a good thing?"

"Yeah, don’t worry about it." Dongwoo said. "It’s just a rumor. I was there when that happened. At least, when the kiss happened." He looked up at the twins who were approaching. "Trust me, it’s not like what the rumors say at all."

"Hm, that’s disappointing." Geumtae accidentally let his thoughts slip and Dongwoo furrowed his eyebrows.

"What did you say?"

"Ah, don’t mind me. That was my evil thought speaking, haha." He laughed.

Yeah, Dongwoo could understand that evil thought.

If the twins happened to be cheaters then Geumtae would be more than happy to swoop in and take him for himself.

He shook his head.

"Anyway, has anything special been going on around you?" Dongwoo asked.

"Special as how?" Geumtae asked.

"Oh, I don’t know. Did you make any new friends recently?" He asked, playing ignorant. "You know, since you’re more or less alone most of the time so I wonder if you ever think of making friends."

"Well, you’re sounding suspicious." Geumtae said, causing Dongwoo to purse his lips, hoping he did not give anything away. "But now that you mention it, I did meet a very peculiar fellow online." He said.

"Online? Like, WeChat?" He asked.

"Yeah. He said he got my number on the net since he was looking for a nice vet where he could ask about his pet cat. His location showed he’s abroad currently so it’s nobody I know of." He mentioned, and Dongwoo wondered if that was Jaeho and Eunwoo’s doing.

Jaeho seemed to be a computer genius so maybe it was his doing.

It would be good to feel familiar with each other, but he did not like the idea of starting with a lie. Did Eunwoo even have a dog?

"So, you guys have been talking?"

"He asks a lot of questions concerning his dog and then we talk about other things. We have a lot in common, I assume. And it’s rather suspicious." Geumtae explained.

’Is it really their doing?’ Dongwoo wondered and looked up to see the twins were finally ready. "Finally!" He exclaimed.

"What was that?" Geumtae asked over the phone.

"Oh, sorry. I wasn’t talking to you." He said. "Well, I hope things work out on your end."

"What do you mean work out?" Geumtae asked.

"Well, you know, I hope you can finally make a friend." Dongwoo said and stood up.

"But I have friends though." Geumtae said.

"Minus the animals." Dongwoo said with glazed eyes.

"Then I have one friend." Geumtae said, chuckling to himself.

"And who’s that?"

"You."

Dongwoo went silent.

"Alright, alright. I get it." He said. "I’m hanging up now. Talk to you later."

"Let’s grab a drink sometime, friend." Geumtae said and Dongwoo could tell he had a smirk on his lips even if he couldn’t see it. He laughed.

"Not happening any time soon."

"Bummer."

Dongwoo cut the call and turned to the twins who surprisingly didn’t ask who he was on the phone with. Rather, they said,

"Guess we ended up waiting for you instead, Hyung." Seojin said and Dongwoo laughed.

"Yeah, it turned out that way. Now, let’s get going."

They headed out to the parking lot and thankfully, there were no photographers or paparazzi.

It was mostly because their residence was yet to be disclosed to the public.

Dongwoo hoped it stayed that way. If they found out where the twins lived and started waiting for them at the foot of their apartment building, then they would also know that Dongwoo lived there too.

And that would spark yet another debate. ’How close are the twins to their photographer that they give him a ride daily?’

Yeah, they were going to prevent that at all costs.

The moment they discovered the twin’s address, Dongwoo would stop going to and fro from work with them.

"We’re here!" Seojun announced.

"Alright. I’ll get down first." Dongwoo said. "Seojun, please drive around the parking lot once and then you guys can come down." He smiled.

They understood why he said that and nodded.

Since there was such a big rumor going around, there were bound to be paparazzi around the foot of the building.

So, if Dongwoo got down first, they wouldn’t suddenly attack him with questions as his face was not known anywhere.

It was just his name that was known and his name was not written on his face, so...

He also had to watch out for where the paparazzi were crowded.

Dongwoo saw the paparazzi waiting for the twins at entrance one. He took out his phone and called the twins to take the entrance two. It was free there.

But they had to hurry. If not, they would be spotted, and things could blow from there.

Thanks to that, they were able to get into the building without getting spotted.

Dongwoo originally wanted to take the matter to the CEO and ask that an official statement be released, but to his surprise, Haejoo nonchalantly shrugged it off and said,

"Let’s leave it. It’s not like it’s ruining their reputation. If anything, this gossip is such good hype, don’t you think?"
