Allegra stated and turned. She headed for the door. She opened it and paused, glancing back at him.

At that time when his kids, Allegra and Alejandro, were still young. Allegra, being 9, and Alejandro, being 7, were good kids.

He did not even ask or inquire as to what that picture was all about as it looked like she had been taken unaware, or if she were the woman at all, he just went ahead to do away with the actor’s career, who had captivated his wife with his charms.

No one would uncover it. No one would know that the picture that was taken was of the actor and his fiance, who happened to have the same body build as his wife, and the face was slightly edited to make it look like it really was her.

She never cheated. She never kissed another man. She was happy with her family. Happy with her husband and her kids. She couldn’t ask for anything more than to spend the rest of her life with them but that was cruelly robbed from her and by the woman who wished to take her place.

Lorina, her best friend. She was the same one who showed Allegra’s father that picture and explained that her best friend was having an affair just so she could take her place.

He had never regretted this action in the past and was confident that he was not going to regret it in the future either. He told himself. Everything worked out for the better in the end, and his children were the ones he could look at with pride.
