He rushed towards Geumtae, grabbed his hand impolitely, and suddenly declared,

"This must be fate. Will you go out with me?"

"Sweetie?" Eunwoo repeated feeling crushed.

"Don’t misunderstand, Eunwoo, that’s just how he is. We’re not in that kind of relationship." Dongwoo said and Eunwoo’s eyes lit up once more. "Geumtae, this is Eunwoo, my assistant, and Eunwoo, this is Geumtae, my friend who is a vet and takes care of my cat from time to time."

He said but silence followed.

"I believe this is the part where you shake hands." He said, and Eunwoo readily brought out his hand for a handshake but Geumtae didn’t.

Dongwoo was also quite confused. He didn’t know Eunwoo could act like that. He didn’t know he had such a personality either.

It was new and strange.

He was quite bold and outspoken and in the weirdest way possible. He was really acting like a helpless romantic.

Dongwoo and Geumtae looked at him oddly. He was talking as if he had been anticipating this very moment with Geumtae.

"Have you heard of me?" Geumtae asked. Yeah, that was the question both wanted to ask but Geumtae beat Dongwoo to it.

"No, are you famous?" Eunwoo asked, his eyes glimmering.

"Then, why are you speaking of me as if you’ve always wanted to meet me when you don’t know me?"

"That’s because I knew I would meet you one day." Eunwoo said, confusing them even more. "I..." His cheeks slightly flushed as he made to reveal his biggest secret. "I’ve been seeing you in my dreams, so of course I know what you’d look like." ... And which, of course, made him out to be a crazy pervert, and Geumtae immediately turned to run, taking Dongwoo with him as well.

"Hey, wait a minute." Dongwoo said. "We should at least hear him out. It’s rude to leave like this, you know."

"Not happening, sweetie. That assistant of yours seems to have a bit of nuts missing. It’s either that or he’s a stalker who’s always been watching me." He said and just the thought of it made him shudder.

Dongwoo looked back to see Eunwoo staring sadly at them as they left.

He couldn’t follow. No, more like he didn’t want to follow. He probably had his reasons.

Then, he watched him bow his head and bend down to pick up something.

Dongwoo didn’t know what it was but he felt they were too harsh on him, leaving like that.

"I guess that coffee’s a bust." He said. "But I can make you one. Come in for a moment."

Dongwoo sighed.

If he could make coffee in his office the whole time, why bother going out?

"No, not exactly. It’s just..." He sighed and finally asked the question, "...if you had a lover whose birthday was coming up in, let’s say three days, what do you think would be the best birthday present for them?"
