Chapter 32 - 32 32 Combined Efforts The Death of Jinmu

32: Chapter 32: Combined Efforts, The Death of Jinmu 32: Chapter 32: Combined Efforts, The Death of Jinmu The wild boar Varaha’s towering tusks pierced the heavens.

The sharp, cold light struck with ferocity, like a bolt through clouds, piercing the void, and hit Jinmu right in the neck.

Jinmu’s invincible body, which was believed to be impervious to all harm in the world, was as weak as a baby’s at that moment.

The skin on his neck caved in instantaneously, tearing apart layer by layer, and with a thunderous boom, blood exploded into the air, turning into a mist of blood that filled the sky.

Rolling sheets of blood rained down from the heavens, staining the Mortal Realm blood-red.

Boom!

The heavy hammer fell and embedded itself in the ground.

Jinmu, his face splattered with blood, looked fierce and pained.

With a mighty push, he forced Varaha away, clutched his neck with one hand, and staggered backward, his form shaking.

For the first time, he felt life slipping away!

He was dying!

He could not reconcile himself to this fate!

Jinmu violently turned his head, his eyes shining with rage and despair, burning intently on Indra.

No!

There was still one last glimmer of hope!

“Amrita!

Amrita!”

“Give me the Amrita!”

Jinmu’s roar was thunderous, blood gushed continuously, and his massive hand reached out.

Terrible storms of blood swirled amidst countless mountains, shattering them, the earth sinking, forming a picture of apocalyptic despair.

This man still had strength to fight!

Indra’s face changed as he saw the approaching giant hand.

He pulled out the Vajra Pestle, and divine power surged wildly.

Whoosh!

Above the golden Sun God Armor, the blue-green poison of Helakela writhed like mad snakes, coiling around the Vajra Pestle.

As the lightning converged at its tip, it condensed into one point and then burst forth with a thunderous explosion.

The blue-green poisonous light intertwined with the lightning, enveloping Jinmu’s entire body, ricocheting violently.

Roar, roar, roar!

Jinmu clasped his head with both hands and howled in agony, shattering the endless blood clouds, the intense pain nearly causing him to lose all reason.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The wild boar Varaha advanced with heavy steps, its fierce tusks thrust forward and pierced through Jinmu’s back.

By then, the Ritual Master Immortal and other Devas had also hurriedly reached the Mortal Realm.

The shattered earth, the fractured rivers, and the pervasive blood mist nearly made it unrecognizable as the Mortal Realm, but the colossal figures of Jinmu and Varaha in the distance, as well as the earth-shattering bolts of lightning, unmistakably revealed the cause of it all.

Roar, roar, roar!

The Ritual Master Immortal, looking at the wild boar Varaha, saw the reflective glow in his eyes, the boar’s body radiated golden light, within which the smiling figure of Lord Vishnu appeared.

In an instant, the Ritual Master Immortal recognized Lord Vishnu’s presence in this avatar, and understood the name of this divine manifestation.

“This is…”

“The aura of Lord Vishnu, this is His avatar—the wild boar Varaha!”

“It must be the combined forces of the Heavenly Emperor and Varaha that defeated Jinmu,” exclaimed the Ritual Master Immortal.

The Devas looked on in astonishment.

The Heavenly Emperor, clutching the Vajra Pestle, surrounded by tempestuous lightning, stood impressively before the eyes of the Devas.

“What a brave and fearless figure, even Jinmu can’t withstand the divine power of the Heavenly Emperor!” said Wind God Vayu with admiration.

As the vanguard of the Devas, he felt honored to witness such a moment, and couldn’t help but express his emotion.

“Hey!

Do you think the Heavenly Emperor just rode away on Airavata to lead Jinmu here, to Lord Vishnu’s avatar?” pondered Sun God Surya, doubtful.

Could it be?

Did the Heavenly Emperor really plan this?

Based on what he knew of Indra—to act on impulse, arrogant and quick to anger—but also knowing to flee when outmatched.

Unless Indra was absolutely certain!

Certain?

The Sun God Surya straightened up, a glint of realization in his eyes.

“Could it be my Divine Armor!”

Surya chuckled, a look of pride and pleasure crossing his face.

“Haha!”

“Exactly, the ‘Gold Sun God Armor’ has absorbed the Helakela, becoming immensely powerful.”

The Sun God Surya nodded lightly, emphasizing the “Gold Sun God Armor” with his voice.

“Everything is under the control of the Heavenly Emperor!” agreed Fire God Agni, nodding affirmatively.

“Yes, that’s right!” said Water God Varuna.

Soma paused slightly, then nodded.

“Since everyone is saying so, it must be true, the Heavenly Emperor must have planned to play Jinmu like a puppet at his fingertips.”

“So the Heavenly Emperor had a plan all along!”

The Ritual Master Immortal, listening to the words of the gods, gleamed in his eyes, and took out a pen to start recording.

“Following the guidance of the Vedas, the Heavenly Emperor lured Jinmu, the King of Asura, to the Mortal Realm, allowing Lord Vishnu’s incarnation Varaha to be born smoothly.

With the combined strength of the two…”

The Ritual Master Immortal’s writing flowed like the dancing of dragons and snakes.

Elsewhere.

Jinmu’s golden eyes, bloodshot, glared fiercely at Indra, his body trembling, hanging on by his last breath.

“Jīnchuáng, Jīnchuáng will avenge me!”

“Avenge!

Me!”

Boom!

Jinmu fell with a thunderous crash.

Rumble!

This immense rumbling echoed throughout the Mortal Realm, the ground covered by the body of Jinmu.

The boar Varaha wore a smile.

He pressed his palms together, and gave a slight bow to Indra.

“Praise be to Indra!”

“Thank you for the guidance!”

The boar Varaha smiled faintly, then bent down to grasp the body of Jinmu and, with large strides, headed toward the Milk Sea.

Giant steps traversed the Mortal Realm.

The gods looked on in surprise at this scene, not understanding what the boar Varaha was doing.

“I will follow and see!”

Wind God Vayu said.

Above the Milk Sea.

Many Asuras also looked up, their faces showing horror; they, too, felt the changes in the Earth, the power that ruled everything in the Earth was fading.

“Jinmu is dead!”

“The King is dead!”

“Could it be that the King was killed by the gods?!”

Voices of panic resounded from the Asura army, the situation swiftly reversing; the Asura army that had been pressing the Gandharvas suddenly began to disintegrate.

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The boar Varaha, carrying the body of Jinmu, fell mightily into the Milk Sea.

All the Asuras at this moment saw their all-contemptuous king cast toward them like a piece of trash, countless Asuras swept into the Milk Sea by the massive wave.

“Run!”

“Flee quickly!”

The Asura army was instantly in disarray.

Brahman’s eyes flickered, a flash of elation fleeting across his face.

Jinmu was finally dead!

Now Jinmu’s twin brother Jīnchuáng was still in asceticism, Vajra Body was a fool; as long as he beguiled Vajra Body into asceticism as well, the Daitya clan would be left unattended.

His days of suffering were finally coming to an end.

He was tired of being the King Tan Napa, it was time to take it a step further!

The position of King of Asura seemed very nice!

“Retreat!”

With a grand wave of his hand, Brahman quickly signaled to the surrounding Asura army.

The Asura army retreated in disorder.

“Rahu!

Rahu!”

Sinhika was shouting frantically, calling the name of her son.

In the chaos of the Milk Sea battlefield, Rahu had disappeared, his traces completely vanished.

“We must go!”

Vibhrajit grasped Sinhika firmly, clutching her wrist, ready to pull her away.

“But Rahu, my husband…”

Sinhika stood frozen in place.

Vibhrajit’s gaze was profound as he stared at Sinhika.

“We can have another son, but if I lose you, I have nothing left!”
