Chapter 26 - 26 26 I Will Definitely Return I Can Withstand It

26: Chapter 26: I Will Definitely Return, I Can Withstand It 26: Chapter 26: I Will Definitely Return, I Can Withstand It “It’s out!”

Jinmu’s eyes shone as he gazed into the immense whirlpool in the Milk Sea, where the center was pitch-black and profound, bottomless, as if it directly connected to the endless depths of the Milk Sea.

Amrita!

Could it be Amrita?!

Boom!

Jinmu soared into the sky, crossing the vast expanse of the sea, flying directly above the spinning vortex.

The gods all watched intently.

They too were curious about what had been churned up from the Milk Sea this time.

Indra looked into the distance.

Many Asuras above the Milk Sea, like shooting stars, flew out and headed for the giant vortex.

“Even Helakela probably can’t kill Jinmu; this fellow has a good memory.

When it was time to bestow blessings, he nearly listed every creature and inanimate object in the world, demanding from Brahma the blessing that would make him unharmed by anything, poison probably included!”

“But he forgot to mention wild boars!”

“However, being so close to Helakela, the Asura army is probably doomed!”

Indra thought to himself.

Meanwhile, Jinmu had already reached above the vortex, he lowered his head, looking down into it.

Within the vortex, streams of blue-green light swirled around, like the aurora, shimmering with colors, extremely dazzling.

Swish!

Jinmu, fearless and even a bit impatient with excitement, leaped down.

Before his period of asceticism, he had already planned and decided on which blessing he would choose, to make himself invulnerable to anything in the world.

For this, he made a long list, writing down nearly all the things in the world on it.

He even took the trouble to memorize it.

Whether it was Devas, Asuras, or humans; whether animals, plants, or toxins, he had included virtually everything in the world, leaving nothing out.

There was nothing left in the world that could kill him.

The mere vortex of the Milk Sea was naturally of no concern to him.

As Jinmu jumped down into the giant vortex, Brahman and the host of Asuras also arrived, gazing eagerly at the vortex, poised to dive in.

Boom!

At that moment, the vortex shook thunderously, and a rolling wave of blue-green poisonous mist burst forth, shooting into the sky and spreading in all directions.

Brahman suddenly halted midair on one foot, standing sideways in the air, and immediately stopped in his tracks, looking warily and suspiciously at the blue-purple toxic mist.

Something’s not right!

Brahman took two steps back, and the other Asura Generals also stiffened their forms.

Upon touching the Milk Sea, the blue-green poison immediately corroded it into pitch-black putrid pus; when Mandara Mountain was exposed to this toxic mist, the multitude of living beings on it fell one after another, leaving no bones behind, with the soil and rocks scorched black, and all life silent.

At this sight, the many Asura Generals were shocked.

“This is poison, a terribly potent poison.

The King might already be dead!”

“I don’t know!”

“But the King has the gift of immortality!”

As the Asuras were struck with fear and uncertainty, accompanied by deafening screams of agony, a huge figure burst forth from the blue-green poison mist in an instant.

“Ah!”

“It hurts!

It hurts so much!”

Jinmu roared in anger and pain, shooting out of the toxic mist.

His body was still perfect, without a single mark, but the gold armor and various ornaments he wore had already corroded, like dough that had been etched away by aqua regia, puffy and blackened, turning into fragile crumbs that fell down with a clattering sound.

Jinmu swallowed his saliva, his face horrified, looking at his hands and body with immense relief.

His body was unscathed!

But…

It hurt so much!

The toxic mist couldn’t harm him, but the touch brought excruciating pain.

How could something like this have been churned from the Milk Sea!

Where were his treasures?!

“King, the toxic mist is coming this way!”

Before Jinmu could react, an Asura shouted in alarm.

Jinmu turned his head, only to see a vast expanse of toxic mist spreading out, rolling towards him from all directions.

“Damn that Vishnu, he deceived me!

He’s deceived me!”

“I will definitely come back!”

Jinmu roared angrily, not even bothering to invoke his Divine Power to repair his corrupted, blackened armor, and shot straight up into the sky.

Brahman and other Asuras looked towards the spreading Helakela with faces filled with horror and eyes brimming with fear.

Jinmu had no choice but to retreat.

If they didn’t run now, they would likely end up with nowhere to bury their corpses.

“Retreat!”

Numerous Asuras began to withdraw.

On the other hand.

Helakela was also spreading towards the Devas.

The Devas were completely flustered and at a loss for what to do.

Whoosh!

A streak of golden light floated before the gods, coalescing into the elegant form of Vishnu.

Vishnu’s face was stern as he looked up at the gushing Helakela.

“This is Helakela, the poison of the world!”

“Anything that touches Helakela will be destroyed, even the Devas will fall.”

Vishnu said.

Upon hearing this, the Devas instantly became timid.

They had plenty of good times ahead to enjoy and didn’t want to die here.

“What do we do?

Supreme Lord, please think of something.

Helakela is spreading so fast, the entire world will be destroyed!”

“Please, Supreme Lord!”

Sun God Surya quickly spoke, clasping his hands together and showing an expression of pleading.

The rest of the gods were also in a panicked frenzy, looking towards Vishnu with fear and concern.

Vishnu’s gaze, however, fell upon Indra.

“I don’t know if I can withstand it!”

Indra stepped forward, his golden Sun God Armor flickering as strands of the Power of Asceticism turned into lightning, bursting forth with brilliant azure that wrapped around the Divine Armor.

“This armor will have the power to absorb all toxins in the world!”

Indra brought his hands together and said softly.

As soon as he finished speaking, the image of Sun God Surya’s upper half appeared on the Divine Armor, raising his right hand, its radiance manifesting and shining upon the Sun God Armor.

“As you wish!”

The voice of Sun God Surya emerged from the armor.

On the side, Sun God Surya slightly opened his mouth, looking at his own Divine Armor with a surprised gaze.

So cool!

Truly fitting for him, the Sun God!

“Heavenly Emperor, you’ve amassed enough power from your ascetic efforts!”

Surya said with a look of surprise.

He hadn’t expected that the Heavenly Emperor would truly succeed in his asceticism.

It was beyond imagining!

Vishnu was also quite surprised and curiously examined the golden Sun God Armor, then nodded and smiled, “Well, we might as well give it a try!”

The gods sighed in relief upon hearing this.

If the Supreme Lord said to give it a try, then it might really be possible to absorb it!

“Heavenly Emperor, you are truly far-sighted!”

Wind God Vayu couldn’t help but say.

“Yes!

This is such a relief!”

Fire God Agni breathed a sigh of relief.

While the gods relaxed, Indra smiled faintly, his hands gripping the edges of the golden Sun God Armor and taking it off.

The armor’s radiance flickered as it hovered in front of the gods.

“Now, who among you will take the Divine Armor to absorb the Helakela?”

Indra blinked and asked.

The gods: “???”

The gods widened their eyes, took a deep breath, and looked at Indra with shock.

So, you’re not getting close to the Helakela yourself and asking them to go instead!

Indra cleared his throat, his eyes darting away as he turned his head to the side.

“Cough!

Cough!

I conjured this Divine Armor.

After many years of asceticism, my Divine Body is weak and besides, not fast enough to keep up with the spread of Helakela.”
