Su Pan’er jumped up and quickly strode out of the IConference Hall.

"How’s Lord Marquis? Has there been any news from him?"

The soldier who had rushed to report was panting, pointing behind him. It took him a while to catch his breath, a smile spread across his face: "Madam, it’s Lord Marquis, he has arrived! He’s presently at the foot of the mountain, engaged in combat with the mountain robbers!"

Qin Yi was riding a tall horse, engaged in combat with a robber.

The enemy tried to break free from the encirclement of his spear, but failed each time, repeated attempts proving futile.

After watching for a while, Su Pan’er stopped and began to laugh. She had realized that Qin Yi was toying with his enemy, like a cat with a mouse! Having caught the mouse, he did not rush to kill it, but instead had his fun watching the mouse struggle to escape.

Su Pan’er couldn’t help but laugh!

He was a fully grown man, but still behaving in such a purposefully childish way.

The mountain robber had clearly figured out Qin Yi’s intent, and furiously cursed, "A warrior can be killed but not humiliated! You son of a bitch, if you dare, give me a quick death. If I flinch, I’m your grandson!"

"You want to be my grandson with that appearance? Bah! I wouldn’t be bothered!"

Qin Yi roared with laughter, "You had the gall to think about touching my wife and child? Without some punishment, who knows which goddamn son of a bitch will feel encouraged to cause trouble. I don’t have that much time. Today, by chance, I will use you to enforce my authority, so as to warn those around. Whoever dares to make trouble next time, this will be their fate!"

As Qin Yi finished speaking, his spear suddenly shot forward, piercing the enemy’s throat. The enemy’s eyes bulged out, and he seemed to murmur something, but a waterfall of blood already gushed out. As soon as he heard her voice, Qin Yi turned his head towards her, and his eyes instantly lit up! He hopped off his horse and ran directly towards her.

Qin Yi’s entire body shook suddenly! His strong arms gripped her tightly against his face as he also softly murmured.

"Pan’er, I missed you too! I missed you so much..."

The noise of the battle around them hadn’t quite settled, and the crackling sound of the torches still echoed, but the couple holding each other tightly, faces flush together whispering sweet nothings, made even the moon in the sky blush, hiding behind a cloud, too shy to look down again.

In this battle, naturally, Su Pan’er emerged victorious. Other than one or two fish that slipped through the net, the rest were either killed or captured.

The lovey-dovey couple walked up the mountain hand in hand, smiling.
