The manor covered a large area, certainly no less than several tens of mu in fields. People were coming and going, and there were many servants on duty. Qin Hong entered in the morning and by noon, he hastily left in his carriage.

Having been hiding in the snow for half a day, Qin Yi was unsure whether he should sneak in now or wait until late at night.

The yard was silent, nothing seemed to be stirring.

Even though he distinctly recalled seeing many people inside from the outside, he couldn’t see anyone walking around as he came all the way here, making Qin Yi’s body tense as he vigilantly watched for any signs of movement in the dark.

He cautiously walked along the corridor to the main gate, only to see the rascal pig sitting on the ground looking at him.

A teasing expression was evident in the small pig eyes!

Qin Yi blinked a few times; looking more closely, the expression became even more intense!

Did he just get scoffed at by a pig?

Enraged, Qin Yi quickly lowered his voice and scolded, "Why did you run off so silently? It’s broad daylight. What if you encounter the people on duty in the manor? What if there are traps in the manor? Pan’er treasures you like the apple of her eye; don’t be a troublemaker and make me clean up after you! Come on, let’s get out of here!"

As soon as Qin Yi finished speaking, he turned and dashed towards the outside.

To his surprise upon looking back, that rascal pig didn’t follow him and was still standing in the same spot, looking at him.

Furrowing his eyebrows, he hastily turned back to try and catch it.

But the rascal pig suddenly ran into the main gate before. Left with no other choice, Qin Yi quickly chased after it, cursing under his breath.

The rascal pig rolled his eyes helplessly!

This man was truly dense. Would he really have thought he could just walk right in without it, the grand pig, helping? Even after gaining the upper hand, he still scolded him. If it wasn’t for Pan’er, he wouldn’t have tolerated this treatment!

Thinking of Pan’er, the rascal pig seemed to have smelled a familiar scent.

Its eyes lit up with excitement, its small pig eyes round and wide open. This was... the scent it was exceptionally familiar with!!

Immediately, it dashed towards the direction from which the aroma came. Qin Yi was unable to hold it back and had no choice but to follow.

The servants in the outer courtyard were bewildered by the rascal pig, but as they entered the inner courtyard, there were even more servants on guard. Four of them were standing guard outside the door of a small courtyard.

Just as Qin Yi was contemplating whether to take them down, the rascal pig walked straight towards the four of them.

"Hey, you ..."

Qin Yi hastily stopped in mid-sentence, worrying for the pig going over to get itself in trouble again.

However, to his astonishment, the four men standing there seemed oblivious. They allowed the rascal pig to waltz right into the small courtyard as if they didn’t notice a thing. This was indeed very strange!

Caught up in the bewilderment, Qin Yi decided to follow the pig’s footsteps and stride into the small courtyard while keeping his surprise in check.

Upon entering the small courtyard, the atmosphere was distinctly different. There were people moving around everywhere. But they all appeared to not see him or the rascal pig – they let them walk around freely.

While he was still engulfed in surprise, the pig had already bolted into the house, leaving no trace of it.

Little Yanyan was awake, and Su Pan’er was gently patting her back to soothe her. Unexpectedly, the rascal pig appeared before her eyes.

"Aww! Pan’er, how could you eat alone without calling me? I’m so hungry that my stomach’s touching my back. I don’t care, you’ve got to share at least five -- no, ten skewers of that roast meat with me!"

The rascal pig’s cry finally startled Su Pan’er, "Rascal pig, how did you get here?" she asked in surprise.

"I followed the scent!"

The saliva was dripping from the corners of the rascal pig’s mouth, "Humph! I don’t care, I need to eat, I need to eat!"

Always thinking about eating!

The intense joy flooding over Su Pan’er made her eyes well up with tears!

A wave of grievance welled up in her heart.

"Qin Yi..."

She buried her face in his chest and clung to him, unwilling to part for a split second.

With the couple embracing each other intimately, wrapped up in the pleasure of reunion, they wished they could meld into each other.

It wasn’t until Little Yanyan, held tightly in Su Pan’er’s arms, began to cry out in discomfort that this joy-filled couple came to their senses and let go of each other.

Seeing Little Yanyan in Su Pan’er’s arms, Qin Yi melted into the gentlest of men, eagerly taking Little Yanyan into his arms from her mother.

Watching her made Qin Yi feel soft as he gave her tickles and hugs, calling her his good girl over and over.

Nanny Zhou, who had been in the room, and others were so touched that they couldn’t help but shed tears.

They nudged each other, silently left the room, and left the space to the three members of Qin’s family.

The couple couldn’t help but take a moment to comfort each other, nestling into each other, before they could finally calm down from the joy of reunion.
