Naruto had his own desires but couldn’t directly express them, so he had to find another way to express them.

For example, if he suddenly told Choji, who was happily munching on grilled meat, "I want to control the Raikage," Choji would likely spit out his drink in shock.

But if Naruto said, "May there be no sandstorms across the land, where people can sell wine and flowers freely," Choji might give him a thumbs up and call him a saint.

When phrased that way, it sounded like a wish for peace, a world without disasters, where people could live freely.

This was the art of language: how you say something can entirely change its meaning. Just like how something shady could be reframed as something pure, turning a black-hearted villain into a saint.

Naruto bit his fingernail and stared at Choji, whose eyes were practically rolling in their sockets as he stuffed himself with food. Choji was eating so fast that he started choking, frantically searching the table for water.

When Choji looked up, he suddenly locked eyes with Naruto and was startled.

"Burp! Naruto… burp! What are you planning?" Choji asked nervously.

"Nothing." Naruto sighed. "Choji, you're of no use to me anymore."

"I don’t know if I should be happy or sad about that." Choji swallowed another mouthful of grilled meat and said incoherently, "So, what’s your plan?"

"What else? I'll just tough it out and apologize." Naruto stuffed a piece of lettuce in his mouth, speaking with his mouth full, "It’s not like she would really break my legs."

"Don’t be so sure." Having heard of Tsunade's violent temper, Choji commented, "Anyway, just don’t drag me into it. I don’t want to be covered in your blood."

"Stop talking, you bastard." Naruto said unhappily, and sighed deeply, "But Choji, if something happens to me, I will definitely drag you down with me."

“You wouldn’t want anyone to know…”

"Ugh… You’re really a dog! Damn it!" Choji almost choked again, pounding his chest to clear his throat before turning to look at Naruto.

But by the time Choji caught his breath, Naruto had already stood up, heading resolutely towards the Hokage Tower, leaving behind only his serious back.

"Naruto…" Choji murmured, still feeling a bit emotional.

"Excuse me, sir, please pay your bill." The stall owner suddenly came over.

Choji was stunned, then immediately became furious.

"That guy said he was treating me, and now he ran off without paying again!"

Feeling quite refreshed after evading the bill, Naruto whistled as he made his way to the Hokage Tower. Under the moonlight, the village of Konoha seemed to be draped in a silver frost.

He climbed up the Hokage Tower carefully. After seeing the light in Shizune's office was still on, he quietly approached and took a look inside.

The door was closed, making it difficult to see who was inside. Naruto, wanting to confirm if it was Shizune or Tsunade, tiptoed closer. Once he realized it was Tsunade, he immediately regretted it.

‘I really want to slip away…’ He thought so, and then he did it.

He had come with full determination to apologize, but now that he was here, he realized he had no idea how to properly apologize. He could charm a girl or pull off a thick-skinned trick, but with Tsunade, it was a different story.

It wasn’t fear exactly, as it was more that the joke had gone too far, and now he felt guilty and unsure of how to face her.

Just as he took his first step to leave, Tsunade's voice suddenly came from the office, with infinite coldness and chill in her voice.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Nowhere, nowhere at all. I’m just passing by." Naruto smiled awkwardly as he pushed the door open. He quickly toned down his usual swagger, trying to appear more serious.

This wasn’t like before, as he couldn’t afford to mess around. He really regretted now reading more books on emotional intelligence, and instead of spending all his time on... other materials.

"Tsunade-sama, I..." Naruto stammered, struggling to find the right words for his apology.

"Just sit down and talk," Tsunade leaned back in her chair, the bright light above casting a tired shadow over her face. She glanced at him with half-opened eyes.

"Okay." Naruto felt a little reserved for the first time.

Ironically, Tsunade seemed the most relaxed she’d ever been. She wasn’t in the mood to chastise him, and she resembled a pampered cat, lazily reclining in her chair.

Her eyes were half-closed, with a bottle of sake sitting on her desk. Strands of golden hair clung to her temples, her cheeks pale as snow, and her lips a delicate shade of red, exuding an air of maturity.

She slowly glanced at Naruto, then slowly closed her eyes.

"What do you want?" She asked, shifting her position slightly as she forced herself to look at him. "What are you doing here so late? I’m not the Hokage anymore."

"Doesn’t that mean you’re a lot more relaxed now?" Naruto replied cautiously.

"Yeah, that makes me feel a lot more relaxed." Tsunade reached for her cup, only to find it empty. She couldn't help but frown, "There’s not much left that I hold dear. Konoha is one of the few."

"After leaving Konoha… who knows when I’ll be back. It hit me suddenly that, aside from Shizune, I don’t have much left."

"I'm leaving soon too, and will probably be away from Konoha for a while." Naruto calmed down, realizing now wasn’t the right time to apologize.

He thought it was better to have a heart-to-heart with Tsunade first, rather than focus on an apology. Otherwise, if Tsunade really disappeared one day, he’d lose any chance of asking for her help.

"Why are you leaving?" Tsunade was a little surprised.

"Well, if you’re leaving, Tsunade-sama, there’s not much point for me to stay either." Naruto replied half-jokingly, "Maybe if I leave for a while, Konoha will be better off."

"Aren't you planning on marrying Ino?" Tsunade paused, then suddenly remembered something and added, "Or Hinata?"

Hearing this, Naruto's expression became awkward again, ‘So even Tsunade knew about this.’

Naruto had expected it, but hearing rumors about himself from her still felt strange.

"I’m... not in a rush," Naruto stammered, unsure of what he was even trying to say, "I haven’t really thought about it yet... maybe sometime later."

"Suit yourself, but be careful. This involved Yamanaka and Hyuga Clans, so you should take it seriously." Tsunade warned him meaningfully and immediately retracted her gaze.

"I understand."

Naruto glanced briefly at the shocking curves emphasized by Tsunade’s clothing, and a phrase popped into his head, ‘Snow-capped peaks’. He didn’t mention that Ino would also leave Konoha eventually, as her projects couldn’t be confined to just Konoha.

As for Hinata, he needed Tsunade to help him a little bit, but now clearly wasn’t the right time to ask, so he had to wait a little longer.

Tsunade observed Naruto, her fingers tapping the desk. Then, she suddenly realized that this was a habit she had picked up from him.

Instantly, Tsunade’s mood soured.

"If there’s nothing else, then get out. You're annoying me just by standing there."

Naruto: “…”

‘I swear that I really hadn’t done anything wrong. Was it because I didn't apologize? Should I apologize now? But that seems like a plot from those dangerous comics, I'm confused.’

Once again, the notion popped into his mind that size is justice, and dimensions are truth.

"Um... there’s one more thing I think I should mention." Naruto was a little embarrassed and coughed, "About the whole time-travel incident…"

"What are you trying to say?" Tsunade's eyes grew cold. "Hmm? Uzumaki Naruto, didn’t I tell you to drop it? Why do you keep bringing it up? What exactly are you trying to prove?"

"Do you think I’m that gullible?"

Before Naruto could react, Tsunade stood up abruptly, approaching him step by step. She clenched her teeth, grabbed Naruto with one hand, and slammed him onto the desk.

Furious, she stared down at him, her pride completely shattered.

"Is this some kind of joke to you, Uzumaki Naruto? Or do you think a thirty-year-old woman who’s lost everything must be terribly lonely, so all it takes is a little flirting from you? "

"Is that it?"

"You didn’t even bother to use a fake name, not even trying to hide it." Tsunade’s icy gaze pierced through him as she held him down by his collar with one hand.

If Tsunade punched him right now, it would be like getting hit by a freight truck.

"I-I wasn’t… this is all a huge misunderstanding, Tsunade-sama." Naruto knew there was no explaining himself. And reasoning his way out of this wouldn’t end well.

"Oh? Then what was it?" Tsunade used more strength in her hands, and all the tense nerves from the past few days finally relaxed, as the anger that had nowhere to vent found a place to vent.

"All that talk about us meeting again in twenty years... do you think that was fun? Uzumaki Naruto, you really deserve to die! Now, what else do you have to say?"

"I was just…"
