A mass migration had occurred, news of the birth of their Grand Duke Eternal City drew in peoples from all over.

As soon as they arrived supplies began pouring in as well, and now merely two weeks later, while many still lived in tents, the foundations of the city had begun to take shape.

Julius in this time had figured out how his build and tech points worked within the system.

[Tech Points] were obtained by persons of the domain performing research, this was noticed when Miri was present in the library the tech points would increase after a certain number of hours had elapsed and this rate would increase the more people were present studying however the level of their intelligence would determine the overall rate of gain.

When Zeff joined Miri in a study session their was barely any additional gain, but once Serena joined in while visiting the rate of growth doubled.

This experimentation was helpful in that Julius gained enough [Tech Points] to purchase the first level of [Engineering] and [Metal Casting].

This aided his cities development as the lots for houses, stores, and industry were being dugout first to create foundations of basic concrete, and the citizens were building these new building to be two story’s rather than the commonly seen single story up till now.

Work had also begun on creating a simple stone roadway between the major cities of Latinium to the capital establishing The Eternal City as the economic hub of the region.

These roads weren’t true roman roads but pale imitation to start with, having only the top most layer removed before laying a simple bed of crushed stone and an application of concrete ontop to create a solid flat structure but one that would most likely change within a few years as the earth shifted, but by then they could replace it with something far more durable.

The most daunting thing of all would be the build points, these increase regularly, and it seemed to be that half of all collected build material goods, such as various stone, and wood.

Upon it’s collection half would seemingly just disappear from existence but in doing so was converted into build points.

This of course could then be used by Julius to enhance anything within his territorial borders, for now he simply used all the build points to further enhance his rising captial.

The creation of a few barracks near the walls provided the garrison places to stay, while also offering up attached training grounds wherein they could train to enhance their Power Levels, and overall Training level as an armed force.

Next up was further enhancing the walls raising them up from 6ft tall to 12ft stone walls, doing so also made him spent more purchasing proper gatehouses at all 18 entrances.

Next up would be the creation of a few 4 storey tenament houses capable of housing dozens of families each.

These were the most immediate of needs with more to come, but only the most critical of things would use build points, anything that could be made by hand later on he would leave to the citizens.

The most important thing now would be the establishment of a research institute as it were, or a think tank, a way to gather together all the nation’s intelligence to mass produce the [Tech Points] allowing for advancement in technology to bring them up to speed with the other nations of the world and possibly even surpass them.

But establishing this in a newly founded nation would be beyond difficult, short of Julius running around performing Unit appraisal on all 2.5 million citizens they’d never be able to identify those with intelligence but at the same time without schools most commoners would not be capable of partaking in a standard aptitude test.

So for now Julius establish the first think tank whose members consisted of Elheat, Miri, Serena, and Fihatri each of whom was located in a different area, but by directive of Julius, and the use of build point each was granted access to a library wherein research could take place, and the ask to seek out disciples who they could train to become educated personal who could be of use administratively by the Grand Duke.

Zeff took up position as head of the Praetorians well rather as a Co-Head, their training further enhance with daily full scale battled between the corp taking place, even battle weekly with the full Praetorian guard taking on the legion choosing the wager to be with the royal guard being outnumbered 4-1 as training and of the two occurrences thus far both times pulling out the win, which of course spurrned the legionaires to train ever harder.

Friendly competition would benefit all so long as it did not breed grudges.

Julius of course solved this by rewarding both sides of the conflicts, many time providing more to the Legion for their cunning thought on how to defeat the better equipped, and vastly superior praetorians.

This of course resulted in the praetorians learning tactics from the legion on how to break the legion formations, provide better coverage, and feints to cause the legion to falter as mixed orders were given.

So set about a peaceful round of days as the newly founded Grand Duchy of Latinium continued to grow and prosper, while as witnessed on the [World Map] the rest of the world was not doing as well.

As Carthage was still embroiled in a bitter struggle, or the factions all still vying for control of it’s territory.

Visigoth reeling from their defeats in Lunan had slow gains in their ongoing war against the south, while the occupying forces in Lunan made no further moves, The remnants of Lunan likewise made no moves, not against Visigoth, and not even probing into Julius’s activity in his own claimed lands.
