The national overview, for a from the ground up country the prospects are pretty good, not the best but considering it’s Berthaquin and the territories within Bridget this can only be expected.

While our support for war is quite high it’s too soon to claim new territories, doing so would galvanize our opposition and since their starting place will be better than ours we’d lose out in a war of attrition, so for now we should focus on developing our nation, letting the others crumble further due to the chaos in the world or just leave themselves ripe for our taking and integration into our founding nation and with ith the establishing of a new kingdom.

First up for our new nation is to spend our Tech points, this would be the reason why my gunpowder experiment before failed, it’s not that i failed to make gunpowered, it’s that the world doesn’t recognize it’s existance.

This could also be gleamed from the fact that while i could implement some agricultural reform i couldn’t introduce everything i knew from modern earth.

While 4 crop rotation and fertalier would be best, at most i could teach 3 crop rotation, use of a horse collar and attached plow but not a heavy plow.

Now that the national system is unlocked i can gradually use Tech points to unlock newer technologies allowing for advancement.

Build points would work similarly but for creating new structures in cities, not quite sure how it would work if the game were real life as every structure built was done so by the players in the game, whereas here the people will build their own houses and workplaces, but with build points being available that means as a player we can still create system foundations.

Putting aside earning points for now, lets access the tech tree and purchase what is most vital for us right now.

Stage 1 technologies start at a purchase price of 4 tech points so to begin with 2 tech’s could be unlocked, while it would not unlock everything about them as each tech has different levels.

To begin with he chose Currency [1], and Civil Service [1] any nation burgeoning or otherwise would need to have an economy and riding on the backs of another nations currency is dangerous and so first we should mint our own coinage for internal use, and by using this increase our influence as other nations on the continent begin to use our currency more and more.

The main reason would be thanks to his cheat system, using the system he could absorb all the coins he came across into his inventory or treasury but with the Curreny Tech this coinage would be converted to the Lord, the nations currency and so by unlocking this tech all it would take is to design the new currency.

As it was in Rome so it shall be again.

System Implement currency of Latinium, Gold Standard Denari, and Silver Sesterti, lastly the Copper Denar.

To keep things simple lets use a common otherworld structure using base 10.

11.8 Billion pure gold coins, gotta love the system with these Latinium is already a force to be reconned with, though it does paint a big target on us as well should we release all this into the world as it is right now, but as our economy grows and the Denari’s flow Rome’s currency will overtake all others that are debased and become the world standard unless another nation can take up the call to stop our economic invasion.

What Julius didn’t know yet however was just how widespread this change was.

The system didn’t just update the coins in his treasury but it updated the coinage in his entire territory, not for travelling merchants mind you but any who thought of their coins to be that of the Grand Duchy’s was converted on the spot into perfect pure, Bronze, Silver, and Gold coins all bearing their rulers faces.
