I'm the Villainess in the Apocalypse
Chapter 98. Encounter

Chapter 98: 98. Encounter

"Didn’t you bring the rope before?" Dylan turned to look at Anna. "Tie some of the bags together and used the mop to put them on each side so that one person can bring them up."

Anna raised her thumbs up. Only Dylan could think of such a convenient method.

The only problem was that they would need someone strong to carry the bags. But with Mark there, they would just hand it over to him.

Naturally, it was because they knew his strength is the biggest.

"Here’s the rope, I’ll find the mop or something like that. There should be a cleaning room nearby..."

Anna ran back up while Mark and Dylan separated the rope to tie the bags together.

There were indeed the cleaning room upstairs but these mops were very dirty and also relatively fragile. Anna quickly searched from her space and took out two strong mops and ran back down.

She honestly wanted to carry metal pole instead.

But it would be harder to explain where she found them compared to these mops that obviously came from the small cleaning room.

"Here you go," Anna handed the two mops.

"Oh, then I’ll carry the other one." Lucy sighed deeply.

"No need. I’ll be the one to do it. You already carried a lot." Dylan took over the two mops and looked at the brand.

He paused for a moment.

Because he was one of the few people in charge of the hotel, he naturally also saw the list of the spending and the lines. His family has a lot of business to manage and most of the time, what was reported to them was only the final number.

But if they wanted to, they could still see the details.

If he was not wrong, he didn’t use this brand at all.

But Dylan was not entirely sure.

While he was thinking, Lucy suddenly asked and interrupted his thoughts. "How about the boat?"

Dylan looked at Anna. "Can you carry the boat back up?"

"Huh?" Anna looked at the large boat and looked at Dylan with a bitter smile. "Do you seriously think that I have the ability to carry such a big boat by myself?"

Anna had been training to increase her strength and stamina. To be honest, it was not a problem to carry the boat with her strength, but the shape is a bit too big that it was difficult for her to carry it alone.

"Release the air inside," Mark said as he walked out of the boat.

Anna nodded and opened it.

It took some time and after she was done putting most of the air out, the others had already carried their belongings and started to walk up. The journey to the 16th floor wouldn’t be easy at all.

"Did you find a lot of food?" Anna asked.

"There are more than enough food, but it would be quite hard to transfer when we move in the future," Mark replied.

Dylan nodded. "If you plan to move anytime soon, then it’s indeed not very suitable for you to bring so many things."

"No, we’ll stay here for at least another week." Mark shook his head. "After a week, I’ll contact my family members to ask the situation of the base. If it’s already quite stable and the places have been divided clearly, we’re going there."

"You have planned the route?"

"More or less."

"Good then."

"I’ll share it to you later. These are based on the situation along the way that I see but it’s not complete yet," Mark replied.

Along the way, he also paid attention to the building and locations. Some buildings can be used to stay temporarily for the night if they wanted to. After all, who wanted to stay floating on the boat when they were sleeping at night?

Not mentioning how cold it would be to sleep in the open air, there was also risk of the boat moving by itself in the middle of the night and bumped to something.

These assault boats were made of rubber and plastics. They were also supported by air and if they bumped in the middle of the night, they wouldn’t have the time to know what it was and might drown directly.

It was simply too dangerous.

Some buildings were apartment and hotels, which was definitely not very suitable for them to land.

After all, they didn’t know the situation there and there were also many people who still stayed there. If they rashly entered and offended the people who lived in that apartment or hotels, there would be too much troubles.

So Mark was paying more attention to other building such as malls and office buildings.

There might be people there too.

But at the very least, the number would be much smaller and the chance of conflicts with others wouldn’t be too big either.

"It’s fine. I’m planning to go on a different direction from you first," Dylan replied calmly.

"Alright then."

They slowly climbed up the stairs as they talked about the events of the day. Lucy said that it was very boring and tiring to row the boat. She felt that as far as her eyes could see, it was either the muddy water or the tall buildings that she could see.

It was very suffocating.

"Hmm?"

The four of them suddenly heard the sound of people talking from upstairs and stopped talking in tacit agreement. They were carrying a lot of things, so if they were to have a conflict in this place, it would be very annoying.

Dylan looked at Anna and Anna took out her gun from her back. To be honest, it was from her space, but she pretended that she had carried it.

The others also looked dignified.

As the people from upstairs came to the stairs, they stopped.

Dylan, who was standing at the front with Anna behind him, frowned when he saw them. "You’re coming out again, Jake?"
